Chargers' Josh Harris: Staying with LA
The Chargers have agreed to terms with Harris.
Harris will be receiving a new contract after spending the last four seasons with the Chargers organization. The long snapper had a late start to the 2025 season due to a chest issue that kept him on injured reserve till early November, but he was able to finish out the year healthy. The 36-year-old will return to snap for kicker Cameron Dicker and punter JK Scott as the Chargers gear up for the 2026 season.

Harris will make his regular-season debut after missing more than two months with a chest injury. The 36-year-old is set to return to his starting role at long snapper with Los Angeles.

Chargers' Josh Harris: Designated to return from IR
The Chargers designated Harris (undisclosed) to return from injured reserve Thursday, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
The veteran long snapper opened the regular season on injured reserve due to an undisclosed issue, but he has progressed enough in his recovery to be cleared to return to practice. Once fully healthy, Harris would reclaim his role as the Chargers' long snapper from Rick Lovato.

Chargers' Josh Harris: Placed on IR, designated to return
Harris (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve with a designation to return Tuesday.
Harris is dealing with an undisclosed injury, and he will now be forced to miss at least the first four games of the 2025 season. The long snapper has played in all 17 regular-season games with the Chargers over each of the last three years, so it appears as if his role is safe with the team once he's healthy.
