OLB Philip Wheeler, a free-agent pickup from Indianapolis, said he’ll be able to take full advantage of his speed, athleticism and versatility in the Raiders’ new defense. “They ask me to do a lot of things, covering the tight end sometimes, blitzing sometimes, dropping back in coverage. It’s fun because the offense is never going to know what we’re doing, and they’re letting us do a lot of things.”
