Vikings coach Mike Zimmer is optimistic cornerback Xavier Rhodes (concussion) will play Sunday against the Broncos, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports.
"Actually, he's feeling great today," Zimmer said of Rhodes on Monday. "He's already passed one test [in the NFL's concussion protocol]. I think he should be ready."
Heading into Week 3's action, Rhodes had carved out some IDP utility by recording 13 tackles over the Vikings' first two games. Though he notched just three tackles on Sunday before his exit from the game, it looks like the cornerback has a solid shot to avoid missing any additional time.
