A week after being waived by the Broncos, inside linebacker Joe Mays has found a new home in Houston. He signed a one-year deal with the Texans, and adds some depth to a defense in need of it after losing Darryl Sharpton to a groin injury.
Mays, 28, is probably best known to Texans fans for what he did to quarterback Matt Schaub during a Week 3 matchup last season.

That ear-rattling, helmet-removing collision led the NFL to suspend Mays for one game.
