The Redskins have announced several cuts. Included are rookie kicker Zach Hocker, linebacker Everette Brown and defensive backs Chase Minnifield and Phillip Thomas.
The most surprising move was the one involving Thomas, a strong safety who was taken in the fourth round of the 2013 draft.
