Coach Ron Rivera remains optimistic ILB Jon Beason (Achilles) and OLB Thomas Davis (left ACL) will contribute this season. Beason is penciled in as a starter, flanked by veteran James Anderson and rookie Luke Kuechly. “Based on what I’ve seen, it’s just a matter of time before they’re 100 percent,” Rivera said after Friday’s rookie minicamp.
