The Lions and free agent LB Stephen Tulloch aren't close to finalizing a new contract, Profootballtalk.com reports. Tulloch led the Lions with 111 tackles in 2011, and the team has expressed its desire to retain him. Browns LB D'Qwell Jackson's new $42.5 million contract surely caught Tulloch's eye, however, and it's likely that he'll want to gauge his value on the open market before returning to Detroit.
