QB Tom Brady and several starters won't play for the Patriots Monday night against the Eagles, according to multiple reports.
LB Jerod Mayo, TEs Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez, WRs Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd, and DT Vince Wilfork also won't play against the Eagles, who are expected to play their starters into the second half.
The Patriots are saving themselves because they have three games in 10 days and leave Tuesday for practices with the Buccaneers on Wednesday and Thursday before Friday's game.
