Cam Newton expressed his condolences to families and friends of those who were lost following Saturday’s shooting near Auburn. Two 20-year-old players from last year’s team, Edward Christian and Ladarious Phillips were killed. Newton was a teammate in 2010. “They were freshmen; I knew them,” Newton said after Wednesday’s minicamp. “My heart goes out.”
