Lions QB Matthew Stafford strained a muscle in his right leg late in the fourth quarter of Detroit’s Week 3 game in Tennessee.
The injury happened as Stafford was pursuing Titans CB Alterraun Verner while Verner was returning an interception for a touchdown. Shaun Hill replaced Stafford for Detroit’s final two drives of regulation time, engineering a comeback that tied the game at 41 and forced overtime.
