Backup QB Matt Leinart spent time at USC as Carson Palmer’s backup, and now he’s in that role again as a Raider. Leinart spent the past two seasons at Houston, where new OC Greg Knapp was his position coach, and he's begun helping Palmer learn Knapp’s offense. “We’re so comfortable with each other,” Leinart said. “We’ve been teammates, we’ve been friends for the past 10 years, so that’s the relationship we have, and I’m here to help him as much as possible.”
