Key Matchups
Here's a quick look at some of the key matchups for this game.
- Cowboys OL vs. Giants DL: Dallas will be without All-Pro left guard Tyler Smith tonight. The tackles, Tyler Guyton and Terence Steele, are already the weak points of the group. Going up against Brian Burns, Abdul Carter and Co., they'll need to be on their game.
- Giants DBs vs. Cowboys WRs: On the same side of the ball, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens are one of the best 1-2 punches in the NFL. Greg Newsome II said earlier this offseason that the Giants have the best cornerback room in the league. They'll have to play like it tonight.
- Giants OL vs. Cowboys DL: Dallas will really test the interior of New York's offensive line with the presence of Quinnen Williams and Kenny Clark. It'll be a tough test for rookie right guard Francis Mauigoa, as well as Jon Runyan Jr. and John Michael Schmitz.
- Jaxson Dart vs. The Blue Tent: Dart is at his best when making plays outside the structure of the offense. He has to keep that improvisational spirit while not taking huge hits like he did last year, so he can stay on the field. Sliding and going out of bounds more often would help.
