Dolphins safety Louis Delmas, who signed a one-year, $3.5 million deal with Miami, told reporters that his knee is ahead of scheduled, and that he's expected to be ready for the start of the 2015 season, according to ESPN.

"The knee is great," said Delmas, who had 2014 his season cut short with a torn ACL in December. "My doctors and my training staff have been doing a great job of managing me and making sure I'm doing everything protocol-wise to be able to play the first game of the season.

"I definitely know that I will be ready for the first game of the season."
