Dolphins running back Damien Williams didn't get his first touch of the game until the second quarter but finished as the team's leading rusher in a Week 10 defeat to the Lions on Sunday.

With Lamar Miller limited with a shoulder injury and Daniel Thomas benched after coughing up the ball, Williams stepped up and earned five of his seven carries came in the second half. He carried the ball seven times for 34 yards and caught all three of his targets for 27 yards.

The Dolphins will host the Bills on Thursday. If Miller remains limited on short rest, the team could turn to Williams for the bulk of the carries.
