The Dolphins promoted linebacker Jake Knott from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, Knott announced on his twitter account.
The Dolphins were able to add Knott to the active roster after placing safety Louis Delmas on IR.
Knot has appeared in 12 games for the Eagles in 2013, registering eight tackles. The Dolphins travel to New England Sunday.
