Coach Romeo Crennel was happy Thursday that three of his 2012 draft picks stepped through their injuries and were back on the practice field for OTA action – OL Jeff Allen (ankle), DB De’Quan Menzie (hamstring) and RB Cyrus Gray (hamstring). “I’m encouraged they were back on the field and doing something,” Crennel said. “As rookies it’s important for them to take part.”
