Bernard Pierce, who averaged 4.9 yards per carry as a rookie, has gotten bigger and faster entering his second season, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said.
"He's done a great job with his offseason conditioning program,” Harbaugh said, via the Baltimore Sun. “He looks good, and I'd say the first two days of practice, he's a better player now than he was last year even at the end of the season."
The 6-foot Pierce bulked up to 228 pounds but maintained his lean build, according to the report.
