Owen Marecic didn't take the FB job and run with it last season. Seventh-round pick Brad Smelley, who was top pick Trent Richardson's backfield mate at Alabama, impressed at rookie mini-camp. The Browns need a better pass-catcher at FB and Smelley could be the answer.
