Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Flirts with double-double in defeat
Murray provided 23 points (9-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, nine assists, one block and one steal across 37 minutes during Saturday's 128-123 loss to the Kings.
Muarray was one rebound shy of logging his fourth double-double of the season during the disappointing loss. Murray has struggled with his shot recently, but he took a step forward Saturday night by connecting on 50 percent of his shots. Murray's average of 6.7 assists through 16 games is on pace to beat his previous season totals in the category

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Pops for 44 points in losing effort
Jokic amassed 44 points (16-28 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 9-10 FT), 13 rebounds and seven assists in 37 minutes during Saturday's 128-123 loss to the Kings.
Jokic extended his combo double-double/triple-double streak to eight games in the loss, and even a monstrous total from the big man wasn't enough to fend off a furious fourth-quarter rally from the Kings. Jokic has been spectacular over 16 games this season, averaging 30.4 points, 13.0 rebounds, 10.8 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.8 blocked shots.

Nuggets' Spencer Jones: Making first career start
Jones is in the Nuggets' starting lineup against the Kings on Saturday, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports.
Jones will start Saturday for the first time in his NBA career due to the absence of Aaron Gordon (hamstring). Jones has seen more playing time of late and has averaged 14.6 minutes per game over his last five outings. He's averaged just 1.6 points over that span, so he shouldn't produce much from a fantasy perspective.

Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Remains out Saturday
Strawther (back) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Kings.
Strawther is slated to miss a fourth straight game due to a back injury. Denver continues to treat him as day-to-day, but he can be considered doubtful until the team releases a new update. With Christian Braun (ankle) and Aaron Gordon (hamstring) slated to miss extended time, Strawther could carve out a rotational role if he returns to full strength soon.

Nuggets' DaRon Holmes: Summoned from G League
The Nuggets recalled Holmes from the G League's Grand Rapids Gold on Saturday.
After missing the entire 2024-25 campaign while recovering from a torn right Achilles tendon, Holmes has been healthy thus far during his rookie season but has nonetheless spent the majority of his time in the G League. He'll be available off the Nuggets' bench for Saturday's game against the Kings, though he's unlikely to be included in the rotation.

Nuggets' Cameron Johnson: Regresses in win
Johnson accumulated nine points (2-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 32 minutes during Friday's 112-109 win over the Rockets.
Johnson scored single digits for the third time in his past five appearances, continuing what has been a frustrating season. However, he has played at least 32 minutes in three straight games, an encouraging sign despite the inconsistent production. With Aaron Gordon now likely to miss time due to a hamstring injury, managers should be holding Johnson, at least for another week.

Nuggets' Peyton Watson: Flirts with double-double
Watson totaled nine points (3-5 FG, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 34 minutes during Friday's 112-109 victory over the Rockets.
Watson played at least 34 minutes for the fourth straight game, grabbing double-digit rebounds for the second time in succession. Although he wasn't able to repeat his 32-point performance from earlier in the week, it appears as though Watson is locked in as a key member of the starting lineup, at least for the foreseeable future. Aaron Gordon is expected to miss time after leaving Friday's game due to an ongoing hamstring injury, only solidifying Watson's spot in the rotation.

Nuggets' Tim Hardaway: Logs 31 minutes in win
Hardaway accumulated 12 points (5-11 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 31 minutes during Friday's 112-109 win over the Rockets.
Hardaway played a season-high 31 minutes, stepping into a larger role after Aaron Gordon was forced from the game due to a hamstring injury. With Christian Braun (ankle) also on the pine, it could be Hardaway who steps into the starting lineup, starting Saturday against the Kings. Despite the looming uptick in playing time, Hardaway remains a viable option only for those needing threes.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Expected to miss time
Nuggets head coach David Adelman said after Friday's 112-109 win over the Rockets that he expects Gordon (hamstring) to miss some time, Vic Lombardi of Altitude Sports.
Gordon departed in the second quarter with a right hamstring strain, finishing the night with one point (0-1 FG, 1-2 FT, 0-1 3Pt) and two rebounds in three minutes. Though the severity of Gordon's hamstring injury won't be confirmed until he undergoes an MRI, even a Grade 1 strain would likely put the veteran forward in line for a multi-game absence. Spencer Jones opened the second half of Friday's game with the starting five in Gordon's stead, and players such as Cameron Johnson, Tim Hardaway, Bruce Brown and Julian Strawther (back) could also see boosts in playing time while Gordon is on the mend.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Comes close to triple-double
Jokic finished Friday's 112-109 win over the Rockets with 34 points (11-20 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 10 rebounds, nine assists, two steals and a block across 39 minutes.
Jokic came just one assist away from notching what would've been his fourth consecutive triple-double. The star center continues to be a dominant player across all fantasy formats and the main driving force of the Nuggets' offense. He has five triple-doubles and four double-doubles across 10 games this month.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Won't return Friday
Gordon won't return to Friday's game against the Rockets due to a right hamstring strain.
Gordon has been dealing with a left hamstring issue for most of November, so the injury he suffered Friday night was to his "good" hamstring. The Nuggets are playing the first game of a back-to-back set Friday, so don't be surprised if Gordon needs to miss Saturday's game versus Sacramento. Peyton Watson and Spencer Jones should be more involved in the rotation sans Gordon, while Cameron Johnson would likely see a larger role on offense.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Questionable to return
Gordon is listed as questionable to return for Friday's game against Houston due to a right hamstring strain.
Gordon has been nursing a hamstring injury recently, and he aggravated the injury Friday night. Look for Spencer Jones and Zeke Nnaji to see more action while Gordon is idle.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Heads to locker room
Gordon exited Friday's game against the Rockets and went to the locker room with an apparent hamstring injury, Tony Jones of The Athletic
Gordon had been dealing with a hamstring injury leading up to Friday's contest, and he may have aggravated the issue. Regardless, he'll be sidelined for at least a portion of Friday's contest as he gets looked at in the locker room. His absence could mean more action for Spencer Jones and Zeke Nnaji.

Nuggets' Zeke Nnaji: Returns to bench
Nnaji isn't part of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Rockets.
Nnaji made a spot start Wednesday due to the absence of Aaron Gordon, but Gordon is back in action Friday. Nnaji logged two points, four rebounds, two steals and one block across 27 minutes during the start, but he hadn't seen more than six minutes in a game previously.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Available Friday
Gordon (hamstring) is available for Friday's game against the Rockets.
The probable tag indicated that Gordon would be available for this matchup, and his availability is now official. The veteran is enjoying an excellent start to the season, averaging 20.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest in 12 games while shooting 53.6 percent from the field. The return of Gordon means Zeke Nnaji will return to a bench role.

Nuggets' Julian Strawther: To miss third straight game
Strawther (back) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Rockets.
Strawther hasn't been able to shake a back injury, which will force him to miss a third straight matchup. His next chance to return will arrive Saturday against the Kings.
