Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Probable for Monday
Ivey is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Pacers due to reconditioning.
After undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery in mid-October and missing the first 15 games of the regular season, Ivey made his season debut in Saturday's win over the Bucks, posting 10 points (4-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two assists, one rebound and one steal across 15 minutes off the bench. The 23-year-old guard is likely to suit up again Monday, though he's still expected to face heavy restrictions if he's cleared to play.

Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Available to play
Ivey (knee) is available for Saturday's game in Milwaukee.
Ivey is set to make his regular-season debut for Detroit on Saturday night, although he'll likely have some heavy minutes restrictions in his first game back from knee surgery. His return could result in fewer minutes for Daniss Jenkins and Caris LeVert.

Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Going through shootaround
Ivey (knee), who's officially listed as questionable, participated in the Pistons' morning shootaround ahead of Saturday's game against the Bucks, Hunter Patterson of The Athletic reports.
Ivey has yet to play this season after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery during training camp, but it appears he's trending toward making his season debut Saturday. The fourth-year guard will likely face heavy limitations, but he should eventually start alongside Cade Cunningham in Detroit's backcourt, which would mean reduced roles for Daniss Jenkins, Caris LeVert and Duncan Robinson.

Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Questionable for Saturday
Ivey (knee) is questionable for Saturday's game in Milwaukee.
This is the first time that Ivey has received the questionable tag since undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery back in October, so he appears to be on the cusp of a return. He'll likely have some heavy minutes restrictions as he's eased back into things, but Ivey will likely chip away at Daniss Jenkins and Caris LeVert's minutes once he's fully up to speed.

Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Assigned to G League
Detroit assigned Ivey to the G League's Motor City Cruise on Tuesday, Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Ivey was spotted going through some on-court work back on Nov. 14, and this assignment is the next positive step in his rehab. Ivey will likely practice with the Cruise before being recalled to join his NBA squad. His return date remains in the air, but a return at some point in November could be on the table.

Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Resumes on-court work
Ivey (knee) was spotted taking part in the Pistons' morning shootaround Friday, Natalie Kerwin of FanDuel Sports Network Detroit reports.
According to Kerwin, Friday marked the first time that Ivey has taken part in on-court work in front of the media since he underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee Oct. 16. Though Ivey's presence on the court is a positive sign, he'll need to eventually advance to participating in full-contact scrimmaging before his season debut can be viewed as imminent.

Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Out at least four weeks
The Pistons announced Thursday that Ivey underwent an arthroscopic procedure to relieve right knee discomfort and will be re-evaluated in four weeks.
The procedure and discomfort are unrelated to the fibula injury Ivey suffered last season, per the Pistons' press release, but this is still a massive hit to Detroit's backcourt, which also lost Malik Beasley and Tim Hardaway this offseason. In Ivey's absence, Caris LeVert (undisclosed), Duncan Robinson, Ronald Holland, Marcus Sasser and Chaz Lanier are all candidates for increased roles to start the season.

Pistons' Jaden Ivey: Cleared for training camp
Pistons president of basketball operations Trajan Langdon said Monday that Ivey (leg) will be a full go for training camp, Eric Vincent reports.
Additionally, Ivey will have no restrictions. Ivey hasn't played since Jan. 1 due to a broken left fibula, forcing him to miss the final 55 games of the 2024-25 regular season. Prior to the injury, he was in the midst of a breakout campaign with 17.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 29.9 minutes across 30 appearances. The Pistons will be hoping he can find his form quickly and pick up where he left off.
