  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Finishes with triple-double in loss

Cunningham finished with 27 points (10-27 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 10 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal over 39 minutes in Saturday's 116-109 loss to Cleveland in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Cunningham finished with his first triple-double of the postseason. However, not everything went well, with the 24-year-old committing eight turnovers, nearly as many as he had in the first two contests of the series combined. He also had trouble shooting the ball, making just 37.0 percent of his shots from the field and 33.3 percent from behind the three-point line. With the victory by the Cavaliers, Cunningham and company will look to get back in the win column in Game 4 on Monday night.

The star guard erupted for 12 points in the final six minutes, which included a pair of key treys to help Detroit get out to a 2-0 lead in the series. Cunningham has put up 20-plus points in each of the first two games of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, and he's also recorded a pair of steals in each appearance.

Cunningham totaled 23 points (6-19 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 9-11 FT), seven assists, three rebounds and two steals across 42 minutes in Tuesday's 111-101 win over Cleveland in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Cunningham struggled with efficiency from the field but made the most of his trips to the charity stripe, finishing with a team-high 23 points in Detroit's critical Game 1 victory. The star guard has now scored at least 20 points in all eight of the Pistons' playoff games in 2026 after turning in a strong first-round series against the Magic, during which he averaged 32.4 points, 7.1 assists and 5.7 rebounds while shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 39.6 percent from beyond the arc across seven contests. Cunningham continuing to produce, particularly with greater efficiency than Tuesday, will be key as Detroit looks to take a commanding 2-0 series lead Thursday.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Double-doubles in Game 6 victory

Cunningham recorded 32 points (10-23 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 10-12 FT), 10 rebounds, four steals, three assists and one block across 42 minutes in Friday's 93-79 win over the Magic in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The Pistons found themselves down big early, with Cunningham scoring just eight points on 3-of-9 shooting in the first half. However, he erupted for 24 points in the second half as the Magic struggled. The star point guard has reached the 30-point threshold in back-to-back games and has yet to score fewer than 25 points through six first-round outings. He also led all players in steals and tied the game high in rebounds, logging his second double-double of the series. Cunningham and the Pistons will look to complete a 3-1 comeback against Orlando in Sunday's Game 7 in Detroit.

  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Erupts for 45 points in Game 5 win

Cunningham posted 45 points (13-23 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 14-14 FT), five assists, four rebounds and one steal across 44 minutes in Wednesday's 116-109 win over the Magic in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The star point guard turned in an efficient performance and tied Paolo Banchero for the game-high mark in points. Cunningham scored 20 points in the second quarter alone and finished one point away from tying his career high. His efficiency was also extremely encouraging, as he had shot just 32.6 percent from the floor in the previous two games. The No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference is now staring at a 3-1 series deficit. Cunningham's counting stats have been terrific with 29.5 points, 7.5 assists and 6.3 rebounds, but he's also averaging 6.8 turnovers while shooting 42.4 percent from the field and 28.6 percent from beyond the arc.

The 27 points led all scorers on the afternoon, but Cunningham didn't get enough help from his teammates to come away with a road win. The fifth-year guard has delivered at least 27 points in all three games of the series so far, averaging 31.0 points, 8.0 assists, 5.3 boards and 2.3 threes in 39.3 minutes, but he may need to find another gear in Game 4 on Monday to avoid heading back to Detroit staring at a 3-1 deficit.
