Bucks' Ryan Rollins: Chips in 10 points in preseason win
Rollins registered 10 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one steal across 16 minutes in Monday's 103-93 preseason win over the Heat.
With all 20 available players logging minutes, Rollins was one of four Milwaukee players to score in double figures during the preseason-opening victory. The 23-year-old point guard underwent offseason surgery on his left shoulder but is now fully healthy ahead of the regular season. The 2022 second-round pick signed a three-year, $12 million deal with Milwaukee in July after flashing potential while Damian Lillard (Achilles) was sidelined to end the 2024-25 regular season. Although Kevin Porter is expected to start with Lillard back in Portland, Rollins will compete with Cole Anthony (face) for playing time off the bench.

Bucks' Ryan Rollins: Had offseason shoulder surgery
Rollins said Thursday that he underwent shoulder surgery during the offseason, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.
Rollins pushed through a left shoulder issue during the 2024-25 regular season. He said he's 100 percent now, however, but he noted that it took a full four months of recovery. Rollins is projected to be the third-string point guard behind Kevin Porter and Cole Anthony this season.

Bucks' Ryan Rollins: Signs three-year deal with Bucks
Rollins has agreed to a three-year, $12 million deal with the Bucks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Rollins will return to Milwaukee on a three-year deal after posting career-high averages of 6.2 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 14.6 minutes per game across 56 regular-season appearances during the 2024-25 campaign. The 23-year-old pro could be in line for a larger role this coming season with the departure of Damian Lillard (Achilles), which leaves the Bucks with questions in the backcourt.

Ryan Rollins: Becomes unrestricted free agent
The Bucks rescinded Rollins' qualifying offer Tuesday, making him an unrestricted free agent, NBA reporter Chris Haynes reports.
Rollins was previously a restricted free agent after the Bucks tendered him a qualifying offer Sunday, but he'll now be able to test the open market due to Milwaukee pulling the offer. The Bucks may still be looking to bring Rollins back, as the decision to rescind his qualifying offer may have been primarily for salary-cap management purposes after Milwaukee agreed to contracts Tuesday with Myles Turner and Gary Harris and acquired Vasilije Micic while trading away Pat Connaughton and waiving Damian Lillard (Achilles). After opening last season as a two-way player for Milwaukee, Rollins was upgraded to a standard contract in March and finished the 2024-25 campaign with averages of 6.2 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 0.8 steals in 14.6 minutes over 56 regular-season games.

Bucks' Ryan Rollins: Qualifying offer extended
The Bucks extended a qualifying offer to Rollins on Sunday, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.
Rollins will enter restricted free agency following a career-best year in which he averaged 6.2 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 48.7 percent from the field across 14.6 minutes per game in 56 regular-season outings (19 starts). The Bucks are expected to try to retain the 22-year-old guard, who could be in line for an increased role next season with Damian Lillard (Achilles) likely to miss most of the 2025-26 season.

Bucks' Ryan Rollins: Closes season out of rotation
Rollins didn't play in Tuesday's Game 5 loss to the Pacers. He finished the regular season with averages of 6.2 points, 1.9 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.9 three-pointers in 14.6 minutes per game over 56 contests (19 starts).
Although Rollins played just 30 minutes across his three postseason appearances, he stepped up for Milwaukee late in the regular season while Damian Lillard (Achilles) was nursing a blood clot in his calf. Over his final 13 regular-season outings (11 starts), Rollins averaged 10.8 points, 3.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.7 three-pointers in 24.4 minutes while shooting 52.5 percent from the floor and 47.8 percent from deep. Rollins is set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer, although the Bucks could make it something of a priority to retain his services, with Lillard's 2025-26 campaign being in jeopardy.

Bucks' Ryan Rollins: Expected to suit up Sunday
Rollins is listed as probable for Sunday's game versus the Pistons due to left shoulder injury management.
Despite dealing with a shoulder issue, Rollins is expected to suit up on Sunday. Since many of Milwaukee's regulars are set to sit out against Detroit, Rollins will likely receive an increased workload if he's upgraded to available.

Bucks' Ryan Rollins: Not playing Sunday
Rollins (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pistons, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.
Rollins was initially listed as probable, but the third-year guard out of Toledo will be sidelined for Sunday's contest. With Rollins and Kevin Porter (wrist) both out, Jamaree Bouyea, Andre Jackson and Pat Connaughton should all see significant playing time in the Bucks' regular-season finale.
