Nuggets' Christian Braun: Out at least six weeks
Braun is scheduled to be re-evaluated in six weeks after suffering a left ankle sprain during Wednesday's 130-116 win over the Clippers, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
The Nuggets haven't provided official word on the severity of Braun's injury, but he's seemingly dealing with something more significant than a Grade 1 sprain and will be in line for a lengthy absence. Given that Braun is unlikely to be immediately cleared for game action even once he's re-evaluated, fantasy managers should brace for his absence to extend into the new year. Tim Hardaway started the second half of Wednesday's game after Braun exited the contest and should see a boost in playing time during Braun's absence, while Julian Strawther and Spencer Jones could also carve out more consistent roles in the rotation. Through the first 11 games of the season, Braun had taken a big step back statistically from his career-best 2024-25 campaign, averaging 11.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.5 three-pointers in 29.5 minutes while shooting 49.5 percent from the field and 79.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Won't return vs Clippers
Braun (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against the Clippers.
Braun suffered an ankle injury during the contest and unsuccessfully attempted to play through the issue before heading back to the locker room. He's now been ruled out the rest of the way, which should open up more opportunities for Spencer Jones, Bruce Brown and Tim Hardaway. His next chance to play will come Saturday against Minnesota.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Questionable to return
Braun is questionable to return to Wednesday's game against the Clippers due to a left ankle injury.
Braun tweaked his ankle earlier in the game and attempted to play through the injury. However, he seemingly wasn't able to shake the injury and is now questionable to return. Braun tallied six points (2-2 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and four assists across 16 minutes before exiting the game the second time.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Modest start continues
Braun produced 12 points (4-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 122-108 victory over the Kings.
Braun's modest start to the season continued Monday, having now scored more than 12 points only three times in the first 10 games. Despite having a consistent role, it's been tough sledding for Braun, averaging just 11.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 0.9 steals in 30.9 minutes per game. The current roster construction limits his overall upside, making it tough to consider him a must-roster player.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Pours in 21 points
Braun notched 21 points (7-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-9 FT), four rebounds and three assists across 31 minutes during Monday's 130-124 win over the Kings.
Braun eclipsed 20 points for the second time this campaign and produced arguably his best game of the young season. He's still waiting to find his rhythm from beyond the arc. During the 2024-25 regular season, Braun knocked down 1.1 triples per game at a 39.7 percent clip. But through the opening six games, he's hitting just 0.5 attempts per game at a 21.4 percent mark.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Pops for 20 against Phoenix
Braun chipped in 20 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-8 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals over 31 minutes during Saturday's 133-111 win over the Suns.
After being held to six points in the Nuggets' opener Thursday, Braun roared back with a much sturdier performance. The fourth-year guard took a big step forward in 2024-25, but Denver is counting on further growth from him as a key part of the supporting cast behind Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Quiet showing in loss
Braun recorded six points (3-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four rebounds and two assists in 38 minutes during Thursday's 137-131 overtime loss to Golden State.
This was a very quiet game by Braun's standards, but his fantasy managers can chalk this up to an off night. Braun saw a ton of minutes in this one, but he took a back seat on offense while Aaron Gordon erupted for 50 points. During the 2024-25 regular season, Braun was a top-60 player in nine-category leagues for his ability to chip in across the board.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Landing five-year extension
Braun (rest) agreed to a five-year, $125 million rookie contract extension with the Nuggets on Monday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
The Nuggets have rewarded Braun following a breakout 2024-25 campaign, during which he averaged 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals in 33.9 minutes per game while shooting 58.0 percent from the field and 39.7 percent from deep over 79 regular-season games (77 starts). The swingman is all set to reprise his role as Denver's starting shooting guard in 2025-26, and he should see his fair share of open looks while playing alongside stars Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Resting Friday
Braun (rest) has been ruled out for Friday's preseason game against the Thunder, Steve McGehee of News 9 Oklahoma City reports.
Along with Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon, Braun will sit out the Nuggets' preseason finale. His next opportunity to suit up will be in the team's regular-season opener against Golden State on Thursday.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Perfect from field in preseason win
Braun recorded 19 points (8-8 FG, 3-3 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and two steals across 22 minutes in Monday's 112-108 preseason win over the Raptors.
Braun was perfect from the field en route to a game-high-tying 19 points. He also tallied two steals, matching the team high. The 24-year-old shooting guard is coming off a career-best season in which he was a regular in the starting five. Over 79 regular-season appearances (77 starts) in the 2024-25 campaign, he averaged 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals across 33.9 minutes per game. The Kansas product also posted career-high shooting splits of 58.0/39.7/82.7 last season.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Finishes breakout year on high note
Braun finished Sunday's 125-93 loss to the Thunder in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals with 19 points (7-14 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 33 minutes.
Braun fell one point shy of the team-high mark in scoring, wrapping up both a solid regular season and postseason for the Nuggets. Over 14 playoff games, the 24-year-old swingman averaged 12.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.7 blocks in 38.9 minutes. Braun should have a good chance of remaining a regular starter in 2025-26 following his breakout campaign, and he could have an even bigger role if Russell Westbrook declines his player option and heads elsewhere this offseason.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Posts double-double in Game 6
Braun had 23 points (8-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals over 39 minutes during Thursday's 119-107 victory over the Thunder in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Braun has had his fair share of struggles on the offensive end in this series, but he erupted for his best game of the playoffs to help keep Denver alive. Through six Western Conference Semifinal outings, Braun now holds averages of 11.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.2 blocks, 1.3 steals and 1.8 three-pointers on 39.0 percent shooting from the field.
