  • Hawks' Isaiah Wong: Leads Hawks in scoring Thursday

Wong finished with 20 points (7-11 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, two assists, four steals and one block across 22 minutes in Thursday's 96-64 Summer League loss to the Grizzlies. Wong was the No. 55 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. He appeared in 21 regular-season games with the Pacers and Hornets, averaging 5.8 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting 38.2 percent from deep over 12.9 minutes. Wong is looking for another opportunity in the NBA, and while that could happen, he would likely need to work his way through the G League.

  • Hawks' Isaiah Wong: Notches 15 points in Summer League

Wong produced 15 points (6-12 FG, 3-4 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 24 minutes of Tuesday's 96-82 Summer League win over the Grizzlies. Wong is a free agent looking to secure a training camp invite. Through two games, he's shooting 38.9 percent from the field, averaging 9.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists.

  • Celtics' Isaiah Wong: Scores 18 in Summer League

Wong recorded 18 points (6-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-5 FT), six assists, one rebound and a steal in 22 minutes during Sunday's 101-80 Summer League win over the Hawks. Wong put together a solid stat line to close out Summer League, posting team highs in points and assists. Wong has appeared in just 21 regular-season games at the NBA level through his first two campaigns and remains without a contract after being waived by the Hornets, so he will likely begin the upcoming season in the G League.

  • Isaiah Wong: Let go by Charlotte

The Hornets waived Wong on Thursday. Wong averaged 6.0 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 13.3 minutes across his 20 NBA appearances this season while playing on a two-way deal with the Hornets. The 24-year-old guard will become a free agent once he clears waivers.

  • Hornets' Isaiah Wong: Probable against Orlando

Wong (foot) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Magic. After missing Monday's game against the Nets with a foot injury, Wong is likely to be available Wednesday for the Hornets' final game prior to the All-Star break. The 2023 second-rounder has averaged 5.8 points, 1.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.6 steals in 11.9 minutes over his last nine appearances.

  • Hornets' Isaiah Wong: Headed to Charlotte

Wong agreed to a two-way deal with the Hornets on Saturday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Wong has been playing in the G League with the Salt Lake City Stars since being waived by the Jazz in early October. He's gotten off to a strong start to the G League campaign, averaging 24.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 steals over 31.4 minutes. Charlotte's addition of Wong gives the team additional depth at point guard with LaMelo Ball (calf) and Tre Mann (back) both out for multiple weeks, though Vasilije Micic and KJ Simpson are presumably in line ahead of Wong for minutes in head coach Charles Lee's rotation.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Wong: Drafted 55th by Indiana

Wong was drafted 55th overall by the Pacers in the 2023 NBA Draft. Wong played four seasons at Miami, putting up averages of 16.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.6 triples in 2022-23. A 6-foot-4 guard, Wong may struggle to find playing time despite the rebuild in Indiana, as Tyrese Haliburton is the face of the franchise and T.J. McConnell is one of the most reliable backups in the NBA.
