Scheierman posted 17 points (6-7 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist and two steals over 23 minutes during Saturday's 128-101 loss to the Rockets.
Scheierman scored a season-high 17 points, landing four triples on just five attempts. Up until Saturday, it had been a lean season for Scheierman, as he scored a total of just three points across five games. While this was a fine shooting display, it isn't likely that he'll have many such performances.

The absence of Jayson Tatum (Achilles) has vacated plenty of usage in Boston, though it doesn't seem like Scheierman will be able to capitalize on the opportunity for the time being. That said, he may not be far off from getting a look in the rotation, given that Josh Minott scored just two points in 14 minutes Wednesday.

The guard is seeing extended minutes this Summer League after appearing in 31 regular-season games with the Celtics last season, when he averaged 3.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists while shooting 35.5 percent in 12.4 minutes per game.

Scheierman racked up 13 points (6-15 FG, 1-7 3Pt), eight rebounds, eight assists and three steals across 27 minutes during Sunday's 94-81 Summer League win over the Knicks.
Scheierman had an impressive all-around performance Sunday, although he continued to struggle from distance. Nevertheless, the fact he came two rebounds and two assists shy of recording a triple-double -- while also finishing with a game-high three swipes -- is naturally encouraging. The Creighton product saw relatively sparse opportunity during his 2024-25 rookie campaign, appearing in 31 regular-season games and averaging 3.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists across 12.4 minutes per contest.

Scheierman was able to make a rare appearance due to garbage time Friday. The No. 30 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Scheierman made 31 appearances in the regular season, averaging 3.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 12.4 minutes while shooting 35.5 percent from the field.

Scheierman closed Thursday's 123-105 win over Philadelphia with 15 points (5-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal over 30 minutes.
Scheierman hasn't had many opportunities to crack the Celtics rotation this season, but he took advantage of the fact that Boston decided to rest several regulars to deliver the best game of his young NBA career. Scheierman's previous season-high scoring mark was a five-point output in a blowout win over the Warriors on Jan. 20. Don't expect Scheierman to suddenly see more minutes, though, as there's a strong chance this was just a one-off opportunity in which the former Creighton standout took advantage of the extra minutes in a blowout win.
