  • Filip Petrusev: On way out of Sacramento

The Kings plan to waive Petrusev on Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Petrusev, whom the Kings acquired from the Clippers earlier this month shortly after he was moved from Philadelphia to Los Angeles along with James Harden, appeared in three total games at the NBA level this season, averaging just 3.3 minutes per contest. The 23-year-old was reportedly interested in exploring his options overseas, and the Kings will let him find work elsewhere while keeping the 15th and final spot on their roster open for the foreseeable future.

  • Kings' Filip Petrusev: Makes team debut

Petrusev contributed three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 FT) over six minutes during Monday's 129-93 loss to New Orleans. Petrusev cracked the Kings' rotation for the first time during Monday's blowout due to numerous injuries. Keon Ellis (ankle) and Sasha Vezenkov (thumb) were ruled out prior to tipoff, while Keegan Murray (back) and Chris Duarte (hand) left the contest early. Even if the Kings are shorthanded moving forward, Petrusev likely won't command enough minutes to make a fantasy impact.

  • Kings' Filip Petrusev: Promoted to main roster

Petrusev was called up to Sacramento's active roster Monday, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports. Petrusev will suit up Monday against Cleveland, but it's unclear if he'll see any playing time. He has logged one three-minute appearance with the Kings thus far.

  • Clippers' Filip Petrusev: Won't debut Tuesday

Petrusev (not injury related) won't play in Tuesday's game versus the Magic, as the trade to send him from the 76ers to the Clippers is still pending, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports. Petrusev was one of the many players included in the trade that sent James Harden to Los Angeles. However, Petrusev, Harden and P.J. Tucker will have to wait until the trade is officially finalized before making their debuts. The Clippers' next game is Wednesday's matchup with the Lakers.

  • Clippers' Filip Petrusev: Included in Harden trade

Petrusev, James Harden and P.J. Tucker were traded to the Clippers on Tuesday in a three-team deal that sent Marcus Morris, Nicolas Batum, Robert Covington and Kenyon Martin to the Clippers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The 76ers also acquired first-round draft picks in 2026 and 2028, 2024 and 2029 second-round draft picks and the right to a first-round pick swap with the Clippers in 2029, while the Thunder acquired the right to swap first-round picks with the Clippers in 2027. Petrusev held a minimal role for the 76ers early in his rookie season, as he didn't appear in the team's first two matchups and played just three minutes during Sunday's blowout win over the Trail Blazers. While he'll sport new threads early in the 2023-24 campaign, he'll likely be on the outside of the Clippers' rotation.

  • 76ers' Filip Petrusev: Inks deal with Philadelphia

Petrusev signed a contract with the 76ers on Monday. Petrusev was selected by Philadelphia with the 50th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft but played in Turkey over the last few seasons. However, he's now landed a contract with the 76ers and will presumably have a chance to compete for playing time in the NBA during the 2023-24 campaign. He was with the 76ers during Summer League play this year and averaged 12.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in two appearances.
