Grizzlies' Charles Bassey: Intends to sign with Memphis
The Grizzlies intend to sign Bassey to a 10-day hardship contract, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
The 25-year-old center will join the Grizzlies to provide short-term frontcourt depth due to Zach Edey (ankle) and Brandon Clarke (knee) being sidelined. Bassey appeared in a career-high 36 regular-season games (one start) with the Spurs last season, during which he averaged 4.4 points and 4.2 rebounds across 10.4 minutes per contest.

Charles Bassey: Waived by Atlanta
The Hawks waived Bassey on Saturday, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.
Despite a strong showing at training camp, Bassey was unable to make Atlanta's final roster. He'll likely draw some interest from around the NBA following this transaction.

Hawks' Charles Bassey: Grabs game-high 17 rebounds
Bassey had seven points (3-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 17 rebounds, five blocks, two steals and one assist in 31 minutes during Monday's preseason win over the Heat.
Following a successful Summer League stint with the Celtics, Atlanta signed Bassey during the offseason, presumably to provide the team with more frontcourt depth. He reminded everyone just what he can do during the win, dominating the glass while recording seven combined steals and blocks. While this was a strong performance, it should be noted that the Hawks rested the entire starting five, as well as a number of rotation pieces.

Hawks' Charles Bassey: Signs with Atlanta
The Hawks signed Bassey on Wednesday, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.
Bassey is now in line to serve as frontcourt depth behind Onyeka Okongwu and Mouhamed Gueye for the Hawks in 2025-26. That said, Bassey is not a guarantee to open the new season with a stable role off the bench. Last year for the Spurs, the 2021 second-rounder averaged 4.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 10.4 minutes per game across 36 regular-season appearances.

Celtics' Charles Bassey: Double-doubles in SL win
Bassey finished with 22 points (8-12 FG, 6-6 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist, two steals and three blocks across 22 minutes during Sunday's 94-81 Summer League win against the Knicks.
Bassey put on a show Sunday in the Las Vegas Summer League, as he was getting it done on both ends of the floor. The Western Kentucky product has no shortage of experience, having played for the 76ers and Spurs over the last four years, but he's now in limbo as he tries to prove his worth and secure another deal to remain in the league for the 2025-26 campaign.

Spurs' Charles Bassey: Will suit up Friday
Bassey (knee) is available for Friday's game against the Cavaliers, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Bassey was initially listed as questionable for this matchup, but the big man will give it a go and play off the bench against one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. Bassey is set to return from a two-game absence, but given that he's made just three appearances since the All-Star break, he won't have a lot of upside across all fantasy formats.

Spurs' Charles Bassey: Questionable vs. Cleveland
Bassey (knee) has been listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Cavaliers, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Bassey has missed the last two games for the Spurs due to a left knee contusion, but he could return to the floor Friday against Cleveland. However, Bassey doesn't hold much fantasy value, as he averages only 10.6 minutes per game this season for San Antonio.

Spurs' Charles Bassey: Out again Wednesday
Bassey (rest) will not play Wednesday against Denver, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Bassey played in his first game since Feb. 23 against the Warriors on Sunday, but now he'll miss his second game in a row for injury management. He'll likely be available to play Friday against Denver, though he's not guaranteed any minutes.

Spurs' Charles Bassey: Listed as out for Tuesday
Bassey has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Magic due to left knee injury management.
This appears to be a scheduled off night for Bassey, who logged 10 minutes Sunday in his first game action since Feb. 23. Assuming he emerged from Sunday's matchup feeling strong, he'll presumably be available for the second half of the team's back-to-back Wednesday in Denver.

Spurs' Charles Bassey: Gets 10 minutes in return
Bassey (knee) recorded one rebound and one block in 10 minutes of court time in Sunday's 148-106 loss to the Warriors.
Available for the first time since Feb. 23 after missing 18 straight games due to an acute-on-chronic bone bruise in his left knee, Bassey claimed a spot in the San Antonio frontcourt rotation while Bismack Biyombo (coach's decision) went unused for the second straight game. Due to the length of Bassey's absence, the Spurs kept his minutes in check, but he could see his playing time ramp up over the final two weeks of the season.

Spurs' Charles Bassey: Returning to action Sunday
Bassey (knee) is available for Sunday's contest against the Warriors.
Bassey will be available for the first time since Feb. 23 after missing the last 18 games due to what the Spurs have labeled as an acute-on-chronic bone bruise in his left knee. While Bassey projects to be part of the rotation Sunday, given the length of his absence, the Spurs are likely to keep his minutes in check.

Spurs' Charles Bassey: Expected to play Sunday
Bassey (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against the Warriors, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Bassey is expected to suit up for the first time since Feb. 23. However, it's unclear if he'll see any playing time. Bismack Biyombo had been starting at center but didn't see any playing time Saturday, while Jeremy Sochan and Sandro Mamukelashvili split time at center.

Bassey (knee) is out for Friday's game versus the 76ers.

Spurs' Charles Bassey: Remains out for Wednesday
Bassey (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Knicks, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Bassey will miss his 13th consecutive contest due to an acute-on-chronic bone bruise in his left knee. The big man is without a clear timeline for a return, but his continued absence should pave the way for Bismack Biyombo, Sandro Mamukelashvili and Jeremy Sochan to cover most of the minutes at center.

Bassey (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Lakers, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Bassey hasn't played since Feb. 23 due to an acute-on-chronic bone bruise on his left knee, and his absence will continue Monday.
