  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Goes for 21 points

Salaun notched 21 points (8-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and four steals across 24 minutes in Wednesday's 110-91 Summer League loss to the Bucks. Salaun was one of three starters to score in double digits for the Hornets, and the only one aside from Hannes Steinbach to reach the 20-point mark. This was Salaun's best game in the Summer League thus far, as he hadn't scored more than 12 points in any of his previous three outings.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Logs nine minutes in loss

Salaun registered four points (1-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists across nine minutes during Friday's 121-90 Play-In Game loss to the Magic. With the Hornets trailing early, Salaun saw action in Friday's season-ending loss after not seeing the floor in Tuesday's Play-In Game win over the Heat. After appearing in 60 regular-season games (10 starts) during his rookie season, the second-year forward split time between the NBA and G League in 2025-26. Over 37 regular-season appearances off the bench this season, the 20-year-old averaged 6.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 0.4 steals in 15.5 minutes per game. He was much more efficient in his second season, shooting 50.3 percent from the field and 43.4 percent from downtown on 2.2 three-point attempts per tilt.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Recalled by Charlotte

The Hornets recalled Salaun from the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Saturday. Salaun helped the Swarm to a 119-104 win over the Stockton Kings in Game 2 of the G League Finals on Friday, when he played 35 minutes and finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks. He hasn't appeared in an NBA-level game since March 3, but Salaun will be available for the Hornets' regular-season finale against the Knicks on Sunday.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Dispatched to G League

The Hornets assigned Salaun (calf) to the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Monday. The 2024 first-round pick hasn't made an appearance for the Hornets or the Swarm since March 3 while on the mend from a left calf strain, but his assignment to the G League indicates that he'll likely practice with the affiliate Monday and potentially return to action in its playoff opener Tuesday versus the Maine Celtics. Salaun will likely rejoin the Hornets once the Swarm's playoff run comes to an end, but he's not expected to be a regular part of the rotation when Charlotte is at full strength.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Out again Sunday

Salaun (calf) won't play in Sunday's game against Boston. Salaun hasn't played since March 3, and at this rate, it's anyone's guess on how much longer he will be on the shelf. The 20-year-old wasn't a consistent producer for Charlotte before his extended absence, although he still enjoyed a relatively stable role in the rotation. With Salaun still sidelined, Sion James should see an increase in opportunity.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Won't play Saturday

Salaun (calf) will remain on the inactive list for Saturday's matchup with the 76ers. Salaun hasn't played since March 4 and continues to get ruled out a day in advance of tipoff, suggesting he's not close to a return. Until the Hornets provide an update on any progress made in his rehab, Salaun should be viewed as week-to-week.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Absence streak to continue

Salaun is out for Thursday's game against the Knicks due to a strained left calf. Thursday will mark an 11th absence in a row for Salaun. Until the Hornets suggest otherwise, the second-year forward's return to the hardwood doesn't seem to be imminent.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Ruled out for Tuesday

Salaun (calf) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Kings. Salaun will miss a 10th consecutive contest due to a left calf strain. His next chance to play will come Thursday against the Knicks, though the forward doesn't have a clear timetable for a return.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Won't play Wednesday

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Ruled out for Tuesday

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Won't play Sunday

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Out with calf strain

Salaun is out for Friday's game against the Heat due to a left calf strain. Salaun missed Wednesday's win in Boston with a left knee injury, but now the Hornets have ruled him out with a calf strain. The second-year forward's absence should have a negligible impact on the Charlotte frontcourt rotation Friday.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Out Wednesday with knee sprain

Salaun has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Boston due to a left knee sprain. After being recalled from the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Tuesday, Salaun checked into Wednesday's 117-90 win over Dallas in garbage time but was subbed out of the contest after playing just one minute and 17 seconds. The knee injury was presumably the cause of Salaun's departure, and he'll now be sidelined for the second leg of the back-to-back set.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Summoned from G League

The Hornets recalled Salaun from the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Tuesday. With Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabate facing potential suspensions after being ejected following a brawl that broke out during Monday's 110-104 loss to Detroit, Salaun will be called up to provide reinforcement in the frontcourt. Expect the second-year player to be included in the rotation in Wednesday's game against the Hawks.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Cleared to return Saturday

Salaun (illness) is available for Saturday's game against the Hawks. Salaun was unable to play against the Rockets on Thursday while battling through an illness, but it appears the second-year has progressed enough to be available for Saturday's contest. He's averaging 16.0 minutes per game off the bench this season, though he's seen less playing time at the NBA level of late while getting more reps in the G League with the Greensboro Swarm.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Iffy for Saturday

Salaun is questionable for Saturday's game against the Hawks with an illness. The Hornets are likely to check back in with the second-year forward closer to Saturday's tipoff. Regardless of whether Salaun is available, his status doesn't appear to shake up the Charlotte frontcourt rotation.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Won't play Thursday

Salaun (illness) has been ruled out for Thursday's game in Houston. An illness will force Salaun to the sidelines Thursday, but he's not a consistent part of the Hornets' rotation, anyway. His next chance to suit up will come Saturday in Atlanta.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Iffy for Thursday

Salaun is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against Houston due to illness. Salaun is feeling under the weather, and he's at risk of missing Thursday's contest. Salaun has appeared in just three of the Hornets' last eight games and recently spent some time with the team's G League affiliate.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Rejoins parent club after G League game

The Hornets recalled Salaun from the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Monday. Salaun joined the Swarm for their 126-103 win over the Windy City Bulls earlier Monday, finishing with 25 points (10-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 14 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks across 34 minutes. He'll be available for the Hornets' game Monday against the Pelicans but isn't expected to be included in the rotation.

  • Hornets' Tidjane Salaun: Probable for Wednesday

Salaun is listed as probable for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers due to left Achilles tendinopathy. The Achilles issue is a new concern for Salaun, though he's still likely to suit up in the front end of this back-to-back set. The second-year forward has appeared in eight outings this month, during which he has averaged 5.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per contest.
