  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Drops 23 points in win

Dillingham racked up 23 points (9-20 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds and seven assists across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 89-85 Summer League win against the Suns. Dillingham came just three rebounds and three assists shy of a triple-double, as he filled up the stat sheet. The Kentucky product has had a solid stint during the Las Vegas Summer League, proving that he may deserve some more playing time when the 2025-26 NBA regular season rolls around.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Nears double-double in win

Dillingham racked up 15 points (6-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, nine assists and three steals across 29 minutes during Saturday's 94-83 Summer League win against the Nuggets. Dillingham had a solid all-around performance Saturday, as he made his presence felt on both ends of the floor. He did a great job getting his teammates involved, finishing with a team-high nine assists while also being a menace defensively with a game-high three steals. Minnesota has gotten off to a hot start to the Summer League with two straight wins.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Receives playoff minutes

Dillingham closed with seven points (3-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt), one rebound and two assists over seven minutes during Wednesday's 124-94 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. Dillingham made just his third playoff appearance for Minnesota, all of which came in blowouts. The rookie guard struggled to receive consistent playing time this year, averaging 4.5 points, 2.0 assists and 1.0 rebounds in 10.5 minutes across 49 regular-season appearances. However, Dillingham will likely continue to grow into a bigger role as Mike Conley ages.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Makes postseason debut

Dillingham played the final 2:01 of Tuesday's 114-88 loss to the Thunder in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, missing his only field-goal attempt and recording an assist. The rookie first-round pick had missed the Timberwolves' entire first-round series against the Lakers as well as Games 1 and 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals series versus the Warriors due to a sprained right ankle, but he was cleared to play ahead of Game 3. With the Timberwolves escaping with narrow wins in each of the final three contests of the series with Golden State, Dillingham didn't crack the rotation, but he was able to make his postseason debut Tuesday at the tail end of a blowout. Dillingham will likely remain outside of head coach Chris Finch's rotation for the duration of Minnesota's playoff run.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Available to play Saturday

Dillingham (ankle) is available for Saturday's Game 3 against the Warriors. Dillingham will suit up and will be an option in the backcourt for the Timberwolves. However, the rookie isn't expected to play significant minutes even if available, so his fantasy upside will be minimal.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Questionable for Saturday

Dillingham (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Warriors. Dillingham has missed the Wolves' last eight games due to a sprained right ankle. There's a chance he'll return to the floor Saturday, which would give Minnesota some added depth in the backcourt. In 49 games played during the regular season, the rookie guard averaged 4.5 points, 1.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 44.1 percent from the field.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Out for Game 2

Dillingham (ankle) won't play in Thursday's Game 2 versus the Warriors. Dillingham will miss his eighth straight contest Thursday due to a right ankle sprain. The rookie guard's next chance to suit up is Saturday's Game 3 against Golden State.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Not playing in Game 1

Dillingham (ankle) has been ruled out for Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Warriors on Tuesday. Dillingham missed the Timberwolves' first-round victory over the Lakers due to a right ankle sprain. He'll continue to be sidelined for the start of the second round, but he saw his playing time diminish after the beginning of March, and his absence shouldn't impact the Timberwolves' backcourt rotation.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Remaining out for Wednesday

Dillingham (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Lakers. Dillingham will miss his sixth consecutive contest due to a sprained right ankle. There's no clear timetable for the rookie guard's return, though his absence shouldn't cause any significant waves in Minnesota's rotation.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Remaining out for Game 2

Dillingham (ankle) has been ruled out for Game 2 against the Lakers on Tuesday. Dillingham continues to deal with a right ankle sprain suffered sometime prior to Saturday's Game 1. His next opportunity to suit up will arrive Friday in Game 3.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Out for series opener

Dillingham (ankle) is out for Game 1 against the Lakers on Saturday, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports. Dillingham was a late addition to the injury report for this game due to a right ankle sprain, and the rookie won't be available for this matchup as a result. That said, he's not expected to play a significant role in the rotation even if available. His next chance to play will come in Game 2 on Tuesday.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Fails to score again Thursday

Dillingham logged no counting stats across two minutes during Thursday's 105-90 victory over the Nets. Dillingham continues to be used sparingly by the Timberwolves, having now played single-digit minutes in 16 straight games. As a rookie on a contending team, Dillingham's path to playing time was always going to be a rocky one. In 47 games played, he is averaging 4.7 points and 2.1 assists in 10.9 minutes per game.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Scores 12 in overtime win

Dillingham totaled 12 points (4-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five assists, four rebounds and one steal in 26 minutes in Monday's 131-128 overtime win over the Thunder. Dillingham hasn't been an offensive focal point for the Timberwolves in his rookie season but was notably productive in Monday's win. The 20-year-old has eclipsed double-digit points eight times and has surpassed 20 minutes a total of seven times this season. The 2024 first-round pick figures to continue in a reserve role for the rest of this season but should remain in high regard moving forward, given his upside and draft pedigree.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Reaches double figures off bench

Dillingham contributed 13 points (5-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three assists, two rebounds and one steal over 23 minutes in Monday's 128-107 loss to Cleveland. Dillingham provided a nice lift off the Timberwolves bench with Minnesota somewhat shorthanded in the absence of Mike Conley (finger), leading all second-unit players in scoring, assists and minutes played in a losing effort. Dillingham has crossed the double-digit scoring mark in seven outings, though Monday marked the first time he's done so in February.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Returning to bench Monday

Dillingham is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Cavaliers. Dillingham got the start Saturday against the Trail Blazers and finished with eight points and six assists across 24 minutes while shooting 4-for-12 from the field. The rookie has played double-digit minutes in each of his last nine outings regardless of whether he starts or comes off the bench, however, so he should continue to see a decent workload in a depleted Timberwolves backcourt that's missing Mike Conley (finger) and Donte DiVincenzo (toe).

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Iffy against Phoenix

Dillingham is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Suns due to an illness. Dillingham has been a consistent piece of Minnesota's backcourt off the bench recently, averaging 14.7 minutes across his last six appearances. However, if Dillingham is forced to sit out Wednesday, Mike Conley and Nickeil Alexander-Walker could receive increased playing time.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Limited again in victory

Dillingham accumulated five points (2-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist and two steals in 11 minutes during Monday's 100-92 victory over the Hawks. Dillingham continues to battle for playing time, something he has struggled with all season. Although this was another mediocre performance, a leg injury to Nickeil Alexander-Walker could potentially give Dillingham a shot at playing as the primary backup behind Mike Conley. Should he get an opportunity to play upwards of 20 minutes, it will be interesting to see what he can do when on the floor.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Sees rotation with DiVincenzo out

Dillingham totaled 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists across 17 minutes during Monday's 108-106 loss to the Grizzlies. Donte DiVincenzo was recently diagnosed with a Grade 3 left big toe sprain and is out indefinitely. That's resulted in Dillingham appearing in Minnesota's past three games, averaging 12.0 points on 62.5 percent shooting, 2.3 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 16.0 minutes. Considering the Timberwolves don't have many other options at point guard, especially with Mike Conley playing poorly, the rookie should continue seeing an expanded role. Fantasy managers in deep leagues could contemplate a speculative add, while managers in standard formats should at least watchlist Dillingham.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Returns from G League

The Timberwolves recalled Dillingham from the G League's Iowa Wolves on Thursday. Dillingham hasn't played for Minnesota since Dec. 23 due to a right ankle sprain, but he's healthy again after making a 25-minute appearance for Iowa on Monday. The rookie guard is back with the parent club but may not be included in the rotation in Friday's game against the Knicks.

  • Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Returns to action in G League

Dillingham (ankle) posted 22 points (9-23 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven assists, six rebounds and three steals in 25 minutes during the Iowa Wolves' 128-114 G League loss to the Rip City Remix on Monday. Dillingham was assigned to the G League on Sunday as the final stage of his rehab following a Grade 2 right ankle sprain, which had sidelined the rookie guard since Dec. 23. While his counting stats were strong against Rip City, Dillingham struggled from deep and committed six turnovers. However, he was Iowa's only starter with a positive point differential. It's unclear what his next step will be, but given the Timberwolves recently benched veteran point guard Mike Conley in favor of Donte DiVincenzo, Dillingham may have a chance to carve out a consistent NBA role moving forward if he can prove he's back to 100 percent.
