Grizzlies' Rayan Rupert: Limited outputs in return
Rupert posted three points (1-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and two steals across 27 minutes during Monday's 132-107 loss to Chicago.
After being inactive for Friday's loss to the Pistons, Rupert was back in action and moved into the starting lineup in place of GG Jackson (foot). However, Rupert was unable to offer much production aside from his defensive contributions. Prior to Monday, Rupert had scored double digits in three straight games while chipping in 5.7 rebounds per contest over that stretch. He's done enough of late to put himself on the radar as a streaming option in 12-team leagues, but due to the terms of his two-way deal, Rupert's availability will be somewhat limited for the rest of the season.

Rupert tallied 20 points (5-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal across 36 minutes during Monday's 126-115 loss to the Nets.
With the Grizzlies keeping just eight players active for Monday's contest, Rupert once again shouldered a sizable workload. Despite coming off the bench, the 21-year-old led Memphis in scoring, with his 20 points representing a season high across his 55 appearances between the Trail Blazers and Grizzlies. While he should continue to see decent minutes when active, Rupert's availability will be limited moving forward while he remains signed to a two-way contract. He's eligible to suit up in just nine of the Grizzlies' remaining 19 games, and since Memphis is expected to get at least a couple players who sat out Monday back in action for Tuesday's contest in Philadelphia, it wouldn't be surprising if Rupert was made inactive for the second leg of the back-to-back set.

After signing his 10-day deal Feb. 22, Rupert had been a regular part of the rotation for each of the Grizzlies' ensuing five games, averaging 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.6 steals, 1.2 assists and 1.2 three-pointers in 26.6 minutes per contest.
