Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Flirts with triple-double
Wembanyama popped off for nine points (3-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists and three blocks in just 16 minutes of action during Monday's preseason win over the Guangzhou Loong-Lions.
Wemby also committed an unfortunate six turnovers while he was out there, but the rest of his stat line shows his immense upside. He looked great running the Spurs' offense, and Monday's performance hints he could spend more time operating as San Antonio's primary playmaker this upcoming season. He'll make for an easy top-3 selection on draft day.

Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: No restrictions at training camp
Head coach Mitch Johnson says that Wembanyama will be a full participant in training camp, NBA reporter Matthew Tynan reports.
Wembanyama underwent surgery on deep vein thrombosis in his right shoulder back in March, and the Spurs announced in July that the big man was fully recovered from the operation. Now that the superstar center is good to go for training camp, fantasy managers should have no concerns about his health to begin the season. Wembanyama averaged 24.3 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.8 blocks, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game over 46 regular-season appearances in 2024-25.
