  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Quiet in return to lineup

Clowney ended with five points (2-6 FG, 1-5 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one steal across 24 minutes during Friday's 116-99 loss to the Lakers. The third-year forward returned to the court after a four-game absence due to a wrist injury, but Clowney didn't make much of an impact. The 24 minutes were his biggest workload since March 7, and through 10 games this month, he's averaging just 9.7 points, 3.9 boards, 1.5 assists and 1.4 threes in 22.4 minutes a contest.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Available to play

Clowney (wrist) is available for Friday's game against the Lakers. Clowney is back after a four-game stint on the sidelines, which could shift Terance Mann back to the second unit. There will also be fewer minutes available for Ziaire Williams and Chaney Johnson with Clowney active.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Probable for Friday

Clowney (wrist) is probable for Friday's game against the Lakers. Clowney is on track to return from a four-game absence Friday, but he'll likely have some minutes restrictions in his first game back. If Clowney is cleared, there will be less minutes available for Terance Mann, Ziaire Williams and Chaney Johnson.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Ruled out for Wednesday

Clowney (wrist) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Warriors, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports. Clowney will miss a fourth consecutive contest due to a right wrist sprain, and it's not an encouraging sign that he continues to be ruled out a day in advance of tipoff. With Michael Porter (hamstring) and Danny Wolf (ankle) also out, Ziaire Williams, Jalen Wilson and Josh Minott are candidates to see increased minutes.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Ruled out Monday

Clowney (wrist) won't play in Monday's game versus Portland, per C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News. Monday is set to be a third consecutive absence for Clowney due to a sprained right wrist. Chaney Johnson, E.J. Liddell and Tyson Etienne could all find themselves being more involved for the depleted Nets on Monday.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Remains out Sunday

Clowney (wrist) won't play Sunday in Sacramento, according to Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com. Clowney suffered a sprained right wrist in Wednesday's loss to OKC, and he was subsequently ruled out for Friday's game against New York. His next chance to suit up will be Monday in Portland. Without Clowney in the rotation, Ziaire Williams, averaging 11.4 points, 2.6 boards, 0.6 assists and 2.0 steals in eight starts this year, will presumably remain with the first five.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Out Friday, doubtful for Sunday

Clowney (wrist), who's out for Friday's game against the Knicks, is doubtful for Sunday's contest versus the Kings, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. Clowney is having his right wrist sprain evaluated, which will likely cost him at least two games. In his absence, the door is open for the likes of Chaney Johnson, Ziaire Williams and Drake Powell to claim a more sizable role.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Ruled out for Friday

Clowney (wrist) won't play Friday versus the Knicks. Clowney injured his wrist during Wednesday's loss to the Thunder and will now sit out Friday's game, which should open up minutes for Danny Wolf, Chaney Johnson and Josh Minott. Clowney's next chance to play will come Sunday in Sacramento, but with that game being the first of a back-to-back, he should be considered highly questionable for that one.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Exits early Wednesday

Clowney won't return to Wednesday's game against the Thunder due to a right wrist sprain. He'll finish with three points (1-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and two rebounds across eight minutes. Clowney logged just under eight minutes in the first quarter and won't play in the final three due to the wrist injury. Danny Wolf and Chaney Johnson are candidates to see increased burn while Clowney is sidelined. His next opportunity to play will come Friday against the Knicks.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Absent from injury report

Clowney (ankle) is off the injury report for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers. Clowney missed Brooklyn's final contest before the All-Star break, but he's all set to play Thursday. One of Ziaire Williams or Terance Mann is likely heading to the bench. Over his last four appearances, Clowney has averaged 11.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 2.0 three-pointers in 24.5 minutes per game.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Ruled out Wednesday

Clowney (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports. Clowney was previously upgraded to available for Wednesday's contest but was unable to get through pregame warmups. The 21-year-old forward's next opportunity to play will come against Cleveland on Feb. 19. Danny Wolf, Jalen Wilson and Ziaire Williams are candidates for increased playing time due to Clowney being sidelined.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Good to go Wednesday

Clowney (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game against Indiana, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports. Clowney was previously considered probable due to a sprained left ankle, so his availability doesn't come as much of a surprise. With Michael Porter (knee) and Nic Claxton (hip) sidelined Wednesday, Clowney could take on a larger role offensively.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Drops 18 on Washington

Clowney amassed 18 points (5-10 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 27 minutes during Saturday's 127-113 victory over the Wizards. It was Clowney's best scoring effort since Jan. 16, when he struck for 23 points against the Bulls. The third-year forward scored just six points total in his first two February games after returning from a lower-back issue, but Saturday's performance suggests he's nearly back to 100 percent.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Lackluster production in return

Clowney (back) tallied six points (3-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt), four rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes Tuesday in the Nets' 125-109 loss to the Lakers. Clowney stepped back into a starting role Tuesday in his return from a five-game absence due to a lower back sprain, resulting in Terance Mann moving to the bench. The third-year forward struggled to make an impact during his time on the court and fell well short of his season-long average of 28.6 minutes per game, though he sat out the entire fourth quarter and likely would have played more had the Nets been more competitive. Expect Clowney's minutes to pick up in the Nets' next game Thursday in Orlando.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Good to go Tuesday

Clowney (back) is good to go for Tuesday's game against the Lakers. Clowney is all set to return from a five-game absence. Given the lengthy rehab stint, he may face restrictions in his first game back. With this news, Danny Wolf is likely to retreat to the bench.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Expected to play Tuesday

Clowney is probable for Tuesday's game against the Lakers with a lower-back sprain, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports. Clowney is set to finish a five-game absence with the injury. His expected presence figures to force Danny Wolf to play a bench role Tuesday. Over his last six appearances, Clowney has averaged 12.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.8 three-pointers in 30.6 minutes per game.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Not playing Sunday

Clowney (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pistons. Clowney's absence will extend to five games while he's dealing with a lower-back injury, and his next opportunity to play is Tuesday against the Pistons. Danny Wolf has started each of the Nets' last two games and could remain in the starting lineup for as long as Clowney is sidelined.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Ruled out for Friday

Clowney (back) won't play Friday in Utah, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports. This will be Clowney's fourth consecutive game on the inactive list, and it's unclear if he's made any progress with his back issue. Danny Wolf should get another start Friday evening, and he could see some more shots falling his way with Michael Porter (personal) also unavailable.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Officially ruled out for Sunday

Clowney (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Clippers. As expected, Clowney will not play in Sunday's game while managing a back injury, and his next opportunity to take the court is Tuesday against the Suns. Jalen Wilson, Ziaire Williams and Danny Wolf are all candidates to see increased playing time in Clowney's absence.

  • Nets' Noah Clowney: Flashes two-way upside in loss

Clowney recorded 15 points (5-14 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and one block over 43 minutes during Friday's 130-126 double-overtime loss to the Celtics. Clowney's final line reflects a subpar shooting night, but the plays he made down the stretch were very impactful. In the final minute of overtime, Clowney recorded a block at the rim, then sank a three in transition on the ensuing play that gave Brooklyn a lead before Hugo Gonzalez's game-tying shot; the sequence flashed the two-way potential that makes him particularly intriguing from a fantasy perspective. Clowney's upped his averages across the board compared to last season and should have plenty of chances to continue proving himself going forward.
