Jazz's Keyonte George: Posts solid scoring night
George produced 25 points (8-18 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 8-9 FT), two rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block in 33 minutes during Sunday's 126-103 loss to the Hornets.
George wasn't exactly on fire from the field in this one, but he made up for it by getting to the charity stripe to attempt a team-high nine shots. He's now put up 20-plus points in three of his last four matchups. However, George figures to lose his role with the starters as soon as Isaiah Collier (hamstring) is cleared to return.

Jazz's Keyonte George: Flirts with triple-double
George registered 17 points (3-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 9-11 FT), nine assists, eight rebounds, one steal and one block over 33 minutes during the Jazz's 118-96 loss to the Suns on Friday.
George went out Friday and put together a nice all-around game a day after the Jazz picked up his fourth-year option. He led Utah with nine dimes and finished second in both points and rebounds behind Lauri Markkanen (33 points) and Walker Kessler (13 rebounds), respectively, while living at the charity stripe with a game-high 11 free-throw attempts. George has started in each of the first five games of the regular season and is averaging 21.2 points, 9.2 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.0 steals over 34.2 minutes per game to start the year. However, he could be demoted to a bench role if Isaiah Collier (hamstring) is cleared to play against the Hornets on Sunday.

The Jazz exercised George's fourth-year team option Thursday.

Jazz's Keyonte George: Career-best night at charity stripe
George finished Wednesday's 136-134 loss to the Trail Blazers with 29 points (6-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 15-15 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and one steal in 32 minutes.
The third-year point guard has the best game of his career at the free-throw line, as the 15 attempts and makes were both personal bests. George has topped 25 points in back-to-back contests and has yet to dish fewer than eight assists in a game, averaging 22.3 points, 9.3 dimes, 2.8 boards, 1.5 threes and 1.0 steals on the young season, and there could be even better production on the way -- he's shooting just 22.2 percent (6-for-27) from three-point range, well below last season's 34.3 percent mark.

Jazz's Keyonte George: Thrives in overtime win
George recorded 26 points (8-18 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 8-8 FT), five rebounds, 10 assists and one steal over 43 minutes during Monday's 138-134 overtime victory over Phoenix.
George posted his second straight double-double, helping the Jazz improve to 2-1 on the season. He's been red hot to open his third NBA campaign, posting averages of 20.0 points, 9.7 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.3 three-pointers. He's shooting 18.2 percent from beyond the arc despite being above 33 percent for his career, so he's likely due for some positive regression on that front too.

Jazz's Keyonte George: Records double-double in loss
George chipped in 18 points (5-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 7-7 FT), two rebounds, 10 assists and one block across 34 minutes during Friday's 105-104 loss to the Kings.
The starting job should continue to be a battle with Isaiah Collier (hamstring), but George will have full ownership of the top spot while Collier recovers. The Baylor product started in 35 games last season, performing as an apt fill-in for injuries and matchup-dependent situations, so he's certainly put in the work to earn the role in his third season with the team.

Jazz's Keyonte George: One assist shy of double-double
George finished Wednesday's 129-108 victory over the Clippers with 16 points (6-12 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, nine assists and two steals in 30 minutes.
George got the starting nod in the season opener with backcourt mate Isaiah Collier (hamstring) sidelined Wednesday. He appears to have a firm grip on the starting point guard role after finishing with a near double-double in a blowout win. George converted just one of his seven attempts from deep but made all six shots from inside the arc.

Jazz's Keyonte George: Paces scoring attack in victory
George registered 20 points (7-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound, two assists, two steals and one block across 26 minutes during Thursday's 132-129 win over the Trail Blazers.
George needed only 11 attempts from the field to lead the Jazz in scoring, adding nine of his 20 points from beyond the arc. This was a much-improved showing for the 21-year-old, who had been held to nine points in 23 minutes during Monday's exhibition against the Mavericks. George will look to take yet another step forward during the 2025-26 campaign after averaging 16.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 67 games a season ago.

Jazz's Keyonte George: Nearly triple-doubles
George put up 12 points (4-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 36 minutes of Friday's 134-130 preseason loss to the Spurs.
George, who made his second straight start to open the preseason, nearly triple-doubled in what was a full workload for the guard. Isaiah Collier (hamstring), who is in a position battle with George, sat for the second straight game. Meanwhile, Walter Clayton, who was the No. 18 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, showed some solemn promise too with 20 points, five rebounds and five assists in 32 minutes. This position battle is likely far from being settled.

Jazz's Keyonte George: Productive in loss
George finished with 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt), nine assists and two rebounds in 28 minutes of Wednesday's 140-127 preseason loss to Houston.
The Jazz had several injuries to report Wednesday, including to point guard Isaiah Collier (hamstring). George started Wednesday's contest and was a bright spot on the team along with Ace Bailey and Brice Sensabaugh. George's position battle with Collier will be a storyline to monitor during the preseason.

Jazz's Keyonte George: Posts solid line to end season
George registered 14 points (6-23 FG, 0-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds and seven assists in 48 minutes during Sunday's 116-105 loss to Minnesota.
George took full advantage of his opportunities with the first unit this season. His role with the Jazz was similar to that of the rookie campaign, where he was often the first man off the bench to spell the backcourt. Numerous injuries at the position helped out his bottom line, and he has all the skills needed to move into a full-time role if the Jazz choose to move some guards in the offseason. He averaged 16.8 points, 5.6 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 0.7 steals over 67 games this season.

George will start Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers.
George will fill in for Isaiah Collier (hamstring) at the starting point guard slot, marking the second-year guard's first start since Jan. 22. In 32 starts this season, George has averaged 16.5 points, 5.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds over 31.5 minutes.

George chipped in 35 points (10-19 FG, 7-13 3Pt, 8-9 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 34 minutes during Sunday's 147-134 loss to Atlanta.
George led Utah in scoring while coming off the bench Sunday, marking his third outing with at least 30 points this season. The 21-year-old posted a game-high seven three-pointers en route to a career-high mark in scoring Sunday, albeit in a losing effort. George has recorded double-digit points in each of his last six appearances, averaging 19.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 3.0 three-pointers across 31.5 minutes per game.
