Bona (ankle) will miss two more games before being re-evaluated, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
Bona is rehabbing from a sprained right ankle, which has caused him to miss the 76ers' last three games. He's set to miss at least two more contests, which could mean he returns Friday against the Nets. Andre Drummond, Dominick Barlow and Trendon Watford will continue to see the majority of minutes at the center position due to the absence of Bona and Joel Embiid (knee).

Bona shifted back to the bench with Joel Embiid returning to the lineup, playing just 18 minutes. However, during his limited time on the floor, Bona blocked a season-high five shots, closing the game with Embiid himself on a minutes restriction. Bona's defensive energy was a key factor in the comeback win, and could earn him a few more minutes moving forward. With that said, he is nothing more than a streaming candidate as long as Embiid remains healthy.

Bona had been confined to minutes in the teens through Philly's first two games of the season, but with Joel Embiid (rest) taking Monday off, Bona was able to earn some meaningful run as a starter. Unfortunately, he didn't do much with the opportunity, and he'll return to a negligible reserve role for Tuesday's game in Washington. Andre Drummond wasn't much more impressive in his 23 minutes off the bench, finishing with four points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in the loss.

Bona (rest) logged six points and two rebounds for Turkey in Friday's 92-78 EuroBasket win over the Czech Republic.
Bona missed the tail end of the Las Vegas Summer League for rest purposes, but he's returned to action and is all set for the 2025-26 campaign. Much of Bona's fantasy appeal to open the new season hinges upon the health of Joel Embiid (knee) and Andre Drummond (toe). Last season, Bona averaged 13.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 28.7 minutes per game over his final 15 appearances for the depleted 76ers.
