  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Limited to eight minutes

Reed ended Sunday's 125-94 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with four points (2-5 FG), four rebounds and one assist across eight minutes. Reed rarely saw big workloads for the Pistons and started just 11 regular-season games, but he was a very reliable reserve center. Across 65 regular-season contests, he shot 61.7 percent from the field for averages of 7.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.9 blocks and 0.9 steals in 13.9 minutes per contest.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Another big game off bench

Reed ended with 17 points (7-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one block over 16 minutes during Friday's 115-94 win over the Cavaliers in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Reed has been more active off the bench in the Pistons' last four games after being a non-factor for the majority of Detroit's postseason run. He has scored in double digits in each of his last four outings, averaging 13.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.8 blocks over 14.3 minutes during that span. Reed has supplanted Isaiah Stewart as the preferred big man off the bench behind starting center Jalen Duren.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Increased role in Game 5 loss

Reed logged 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 17 minutes during Wednesday's 117-113 overtime loss to the Cavaliers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Reed played the entire fourth quarter, as well as the overtime period, supplanting Jalen Duren, who once again struggled to have any sort of tangible impact. While Reed was able to provide the team with some much-needed energy, it was not enough as Detroit snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, falling to a 3-2 series deficit.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Back in rotation Friday

Reed had six points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and three blocks in 11 minutes during Friday's 93-79 victory over the Magic in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Reed moved back into the rotation, logging 11 minutes, the most he has played thus far in the playoffs. With Isaiah Stewart struggling to impact the game, Reed was thrown in, providing the team with his usual assortment of rebounds and defensive stats. The series is now tied at 3-3, with the two teams heading back to Detroit for Game 7.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Slides back out of rotation

Reed (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Monday in the Pistons' 94-88 loss to the Magic in Game 4 of the first-round playoff series. After seeing action in each of the Pistons' final 20 games of the regular season, Reed has essentially fallen out of the rotation through Detroit's first four playoff contests while head coach J.B. Bickerstaff has leaned almost exclusively on Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart as the team's options at center. Reed has appeared in just two of the four games of the series, making a 45-second cameo in garbage time of a Game 2 win and then logging seven minutes in Game 3, when Duren contended with foul trouble.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Back to bench

Reed will come off the bench for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference first-round playoff series against the Magic on Sunday, Eric Vincent of ClutchPoints.com reports. This is an expected development with Jalen Duren healthy again. Reed was sharp in a spot start for the regular-season finale with 26 points (11-11 FG, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks in 21 minutes.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Stellar performance in win

Reed recorded 26 points (11-11 FG, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks in 21 minutes during Sunday's 133-121 win over the Pacers. Reed put together a flawless performance Sunday, logging a game-high 26 points without missing a shot or committing a turnover. On top of an impressive offensive display, Reed was productive on the defensive end, sending back three shots and collecting three steals. With Detroit now entering the playoffs, Reed's role figures to decrease, but he enters the postseason in outstanding form.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Starting sans Duren

Reed will start Sunday's game against the Pacers. With Jalen Duren (knee) out, Reed will get the starting nod in Detroit's regular-season finale. As a starter this season (10 games), the big man has averaged 14.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.8 steals across 27.5 minutes per contest.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Not starting Wednesday

Reed won't start Wednesday's game against Milwaukee. Reed got the start in Monday's 123-107 loss to Orlando, finishing with nine points, six rebounds, two assists and one block across 19 minutes. However, with Tobias Harris (knee) available, Reed will come off the bench.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Scores in double figures

Reed provided 10 points (4-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds, one block and two steals in 18 minutes during Saturday's 116-93 win over the 76ers. Reed provided a solid boost off the bench Saturday, and he was far more involved across the board than in his previous showing, when he was held to four points and four rebounds in 16 minutes Thursday against Minnesota. The DePaul product has scored in double figures in four of his last five appearances and is averaging 11.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.6 blocks in 19.6 minutes during this stretch.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Not starting Tuesday

Reed won't start Tuesday's game against Toronto. With Jalen Duren (knee) out, Reed got the start in Monday's 114-110 overtime loss to Oklahoma City, finishing with 21 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, four blocks and one steal. However, with Duren back in the lineup, Reed will return to the bench, likely limiting him to roughly 15-20 minutes of work.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Double-double in OT loss

Reed finished with 21 points (7-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, four blocks and one steal across 34 minutes during Monday's 114-110 overtime loss to the Thunder. Making his first start since Feb. 19 with Jalen Duren (knee) and Isaiah Stewart (calf) both unavailable, Reed delivered his third double-double of the season while scoring at least 20 points for the first time since Feb. 11. The 26-year-old center has chipped in double-digit points in five of the last eight games as he handles a bigger role in the frontcourt in Stewart's absence, averaging 12.1 points, 4.8 boards, 1.9 assists, 1.1 blocks and 0.9 steals in just 18.5 minutes over that stretch while shooting 58.5 percent from the floor.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Starting sans Duren

Reed will start Monday's game against the Thunder. With Jalen Duren (knee) sitting out the front end of this back-to-back set, Reed will step into the starting five. As a starter this season (eight games), the big man has averaged 13.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.8 blocks in 27.8 minutes per contest.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Productive despite limited role

Reed registered 12 points (4-7 FG, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 17 minutes during Saturday's 109-87 victory over Minnesota. Reed continues to play a secondary role despite the absence of Isaiah Stewart (calf), yet he was able to chip in across the board against what ended up being a favorable opponent. While he does have what might be considered elite per-minute upside, Reed simply isn't seeing enough of the court to be considered a must-add player. At this point, he can be streamed in when the schedule works in his favor, keeping in mind that Stewart is seemingly nearing a return.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Strong line off bench

Reed accumulated 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 21 minutes during Thursday's 117-95 win over the Wizards. With Isaiah Stewart (calf) still on the shelf and Jalen Duren not playing in the fourth quarter out of caution, Reed saw increased usage and put together an impressive display. Reed's per-minute upside is very strong, so as long as the minutes are there, he'll be on the streaming radar.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Underwhelming in win

Reed produced 10 points (4-5 FG, 2-4 FT), four rebounds and one assist over 13 minutes during Tuesday's 130-117 victory over the Wizards. Despite Isaiah Stewart's continued absence due to a calf injury, Reed failed to make a significant impact. In two games without Stewart, Reed has logged 11 and 13 minutes, averaging 7.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks. At this point, there are likely better streaming options available in most leagues.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Sees garbage-time run

Reed registered 10 points (3-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over six minutes during Sunday's 121-110 loss to the Heat. With Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart both back in the fold for the Pistons, Reed is back to being buried as the third-string center on the depth chart. Reed has appeared in just two of Detroit's last four contests, and all of his production Sunday came in the fourth quarter of a blowout. He's averaging 8.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 13.6 minutes per tilt in his last seven games, shooting 58.5 percent from the field.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Another strong start

Reed registered 18 points (7-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, three blocks and one steal over 29 minutes during the Pistons' 126-111 win over the Knicks on Thursday. Reed put together a nice stat line during Thursday's win, finishing as the Pistons' third-leading rebounder and second in points behind Cade Cunningham (42). Reed has started in each of the Pistons' last two games but will likely revert to a bench role against the Bulls on Saturday since Jalen Duren will be available to return after serving a two-game suspension. That said, Reed should see an elevated role off the bench in the short term as Isaiah Stewart (suspension) will not be eligible to return until March 3.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Hits for 22 in Wednesday's start

Reed produced 22 points (10-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists, four blocks and three steals across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 113-95 win over the Raptors. With Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart both suspended in the wake of Monday's brawl with the Hornets, Reed made his first start since Jan. 10. He delivered a dominant defensive performance while producing his best scoring effort since Nov. 12, when he erupted for a season-high 28 against the Bulls. Duren is set to miss only one more game, but Stewart has been shelved until March 3, so Reed should see elevated usage into next month. The 26-year-old center has scored in double digits in three straight games, averaging 15.3 points, 4.7 boards, 2.7 assists, 2.0 steals, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 threes.

  • Pistons' Paul Reed: Solid in 18 minutes

Reed had 12 points (3-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-8 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 18 minutes during Monday's 110-104 victory over the Hornets. With Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart likely facing suspensions for their altercation with Miles Bridges on Monday, Reed suddenly becomes an intriguing streaming option in fantasy hoops. As a strong per-minute producer in rebounds, steals and blocks, Reed could have a nice window to provide a boost to fantasy managers.
