  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Won't play Tuesday

Barlow (elbow) will remain out for Tuesday's game against the Bulls.

Barlow is still recovering from a procedure he had to address a laceration on his elbow, and Tuesday will mark his fourth straight game on the inactive list. Head coach Nick Nurse acknowledged Sunday that Barlow's injury is taking longer to heal than expected, but he hoped to get another update early next week. It doesn't sound like Barlow will be available for Wednesday's game in Cleveland, nor the Saturday-Sunday, back-to-back set that follows.

  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Out two more games

Barlow (elbow) will be sidelined for the next two games, Tony Jones of The Athletic reported Thursday.

Barlow was the only player on the 76ers who was held out of Thursday's practice. Based on this timetable, his next chance to return to the lineup will be Nov. 4 against the Bulls. He fared well in his only two appearances of the season with 7.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Out at least two games

Barlow is set to undergo a procedure Monday to address a right elbow laceration and will miss the 76ers' next two games before being re-evaluated later this week, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports.

Barlow suffered the injury during Saturday's 125-121 win over the Hornets, missing the entire second half of the contest as a result. The 76ers should have a better idea regarding how much time Barlow will miss once he's re-evaluated, but he'll be sidelined for at least Monday's home game versus the Magic and Tuesday's game in Washington. Jabari Walker opened the third quarter of Saturday's win with the starters and could slide into the top unit in Barlow's stead Monday.

  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Out for Monday

Barlow (elbow) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Magic.

Barlow sustained a right elbow laceration in Saturday's win over the Hornets and won't suit up against Orlando. With the 22-year-old sidelined, Jabari Walker and Justin Edwards are candidates for increased minutes. Barlow's next opportunity to play will come Tuesday against the Wizards.

  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Exits 76ers' win with elbow injury

Barlow (elbow) finished Saturday's 125-121 win over Charlotte with two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and four rebounds across 16 minutes.

Barlow started but did not play during the second half of Philadelphia's win on Saturday due to a laceration to his right elbow. This is unfortunate news for the 22-year-old after he impressed with 13 points, eight rebounds, five assists and a block across 34 minutes in the season-opener Wednesday. Barlow's status is uncertain versus Orlando on Monday.

  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Won't return Saturday

Barlow won't return to Saturday's game against the Hornets due to a right elbow laceration, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Barlow was able to finish the first half but won't return for the second. He'll end the game with two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and four rebounds in 16 minutes. Jabari Walker and Justin Edwards are candidates to see increased minutes the rest of the way. Barlow's status will be worth monitoring ahead of Monday's game against the Magic.

  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Impresses in start

Barlow closed Wednesday's 117-116 victory over the Celtics with 13 points (4-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and one block over 34 minutes.

Barlow was named as a surprise starter for the season opener, finishing with an impressive stat line in 34 minutes. While VJ Edgecombe and Tyrese Maxey will likely receive all the accolades, Barlow's contributions shouldn't be overlooked. Until the 76ers have a healthy roster, Barlow could be worth a look, even in standard fantasy leagues.

  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Starting in 76ers debut

Barlow is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Boston, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports.

Barlow inked a two-way contract with the 76ers this offseason ahead of his fourth NBA season. The 22-year-old big man will draw the start in Philadelphia's regular-season opener, stepping into the power forward spot while Paul George (knee) and Trendon Watford (hamstring) are sidelined. Barlow started four games with Atlanta in 2024-25, and he averaged 9.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 0.8 blocks across 20 minutes per game across those four starts.

  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Joining second unit Friday

Barlow won't start in Friday's preseason game against the Timberwolves, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports.

Barlow will retreat to the bench in Philadelphia's preseason finale. The 22-year-old big man started the team's previous three preseason games and will look to earn a spot in the rotation come Opening Night.

  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Nearly double-doubles

Barlow recorded 12 points (4-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-6 FT), nine rebounds and one steal in 29 minutes of Friday's 128-98 preseason loss to the Magic.

Barlow drew another start Friday and continues to make a strong impression on the 76ers. The team is without several key contributors due to injuries and maintenance, but even though Barlow is on a two-way contract, he might play his way into the rotation for Opening Night at this point.

  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Productive in start

Barlow had six points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 29 minutes during Thursday's 99-84 preseason loss to the Knicks.

Barlow started Philadelphia's preseason opener, something he's unlikely to do very often when Paul George (knee) is healthy for the 76ers. That said, Barlow could be a mainstay in the first unit during the preseason as the two-way player looks to make an impression ahead of the regular season. If George is cleared for Opening Night, however, Barlow would likely head over to the G League's Delaware Blue Coats.

  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Starting against New York

Barlow will start in Thursday's preseason game against the Knicks.

The 76ers are pretty shorthanded Thursday, but it's interesting to see Barlow get the starting nod next to Adem Bona. Barlow is on a two-way contract with the 76ers, but he can play both the four and the five positions. Additionally, coach Nick Nurse singled him out as someone who is having a strong camp.

  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Active at training camp

Barlow (rest) has been active at training camp, Adam Aaronson of Philly Voice reports.

Barlow, who was shut down early during the Summer League for undisclosed reasons, has also been a standout in training camp. "Dominick Barlow is standing out early on here," head coach Nick Nurse said. "He's just really on the glass and making some shots and playing extremely hard. He was just involved in a lot of good stuff." Barlow, who is on a two-way contract, could be a candidate to crack the rotation if Joel Embiid (knee) struggles to get healthy.

  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Shut down for rest of Summer League

Barlow (not injury related) will be shut down for the remainder of Summer League, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Barlow's Summer League run has come to an end after two appearances, highlighted by a double-double effort Saturday. The center signed a two-way contract with the 76ers on July 9 following a 2024-25 season with the Hawks, during which he averaged 4.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in 10.7 minutes per game while shooting 53.1 percent from the field across 35 regular-season outings.

Barlow came up one rebound shy of a double-double in Saturday's close loss. The center signed a two-way deal with the 76ers on Wednesday after appearing in 35 regular-season games for the Hawks during the 2024-25 season, where he averaged 4.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in 10.7 minutes per game while shooting 53.1 percent from the field.

  • 76ers' Dominick Barlow: Signs two-way deal with Philly

Barlow agreed to a two-way contract with the 76ers on Wednesday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

After having his team option declined by the Hawks on June 29, Barlow has a chance at a fresh start in Philadelphia. The 21-year-old center played in 35 regular-season games for Atlanta during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 4.2 points and 2.4 rebounds across 10.7 minutes per game, shooting 53.1 percent from the field.

  • Dominick Barlow: Team option declined

The Hawks declined their $2.2 million team option in Barlow's contract for 2025-26 on Sunday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Barlow is now set to explore other opportunities in unrestricted free agency this offseason. The 22-year-old big man appeared in 35 regular-season outings (four starts) in 2024-25, averaging 4.2 points and 2.4 rebounds across 10.7 minutes per game.

  • Hawks' Dominick Barlow: Back to bench against Magic

Barlow is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's Play-In Game against Orlando.

Onyeka Okongwu (knee) got the day off for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Magic, but his return to action for Tuesday's meeting with Orlando will push Barlow back to the bench. Over Barlow's last 12 appearances coming off the bench, he has averaged 4.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.4 blocks in 11.5 minutes per contest.

  • Hawks' Dominick Barlow: Starting Sunday

Barlow is in Atlanta's starting lineup against Orlando on Sunday.

Barlow has seen his playing time diminish as of late, but he'll make his fourth start of the season Sunday due to the absence of Onyeka Okongwu (knee).

  • Hawks' Dominick Barlow: Diminished role in victory

Barlow logged two points (1-1 FG, 0-1 FT), two rebounds and one assist across three minutes during Thursday's 133-109 win over the Nets.

Barlow barely saw the floor in the win, playing fewer than five minutes for the third straight game. It's been another underwhelming season for Barlow, with his numbers basically reflecting his career to this point. Through 33 games played, he has averaged just 4.0 points and 2.4 rebounds in 10.3 minutes per contest.
