  • Celtics' Derrick White: Too little, too late in loss

White recorded 26 points (9-26 FG, 5-16 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, four assists and three blocks in 45 minutes during Saturday's 109-100 loss to Philadelphia in Game 7 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. White had easily his most productive game of the postseason, albeit in a losing effort. Despite continuing to struggle with his shot, he scored at least 20 points for the first time in the playoffs and for the first time since mid-March. Saturday's Game 7 loss brings down the curtain on a disappointing end to the season for the Celtics, who had a 3-1 series lead. Across 77 regular-season appearances, White averaged 16.5 points, 5.4 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 2.4 combined steals-plus-blocks in 34.1 minutes per tilt.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Struggles again in Game 5 loss

White racked up six points (2-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and three assists over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 113-97 loss to the 76ers in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. White continued what has been a rough playoff series, scoring just six points for the second straight game. While the Celtics still hold a 3-2 series lead, White's struggles couldn't have come at a worse time. He is averaging 8.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.4 three-pointers and 2.0 combined steals and blocks through five playoff games.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Strong effort defensively

White accumulated six points (2-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 33 minutes during Sunday's 128-96 victory over Philadelphia in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. White had a very low usage rate in this contest, but he was everywhere on the defensive end. The Celtics hold a commanding 3-1 series lead, and that's without White at his best. He's averaging 8.8 points on 30.8 percent shooting thus far over four playoff games.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Poor shooting continues

White contributed eight points (3-12 FG, 2-10 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 39 minutes during Tuesday's 111-97 loss to the 76ers in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. White's lack of offensive precision continues to be an issue, as he scored no more than 12 points for the 10th time in his past 11 games. Despite putting up top-30 fantasy numbers this season, efficiency has been a major talking point. Through 79 total appearances, he has shot just 39.3 percent from the field, easily his worst fantasy category.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Omitted from injury report

White (knee) isn't listed on the injury report for Sunday's Game 1 against the 76ers. White was held out of Boston's regular-season finale due to a right knee contusion but will return for the start of the playoffs. The veteran guard averaged 10.6 points, 4.0 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 33.0 minutes per contest over his final 10 regular-season appearances.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Unavailable against Orlando

White (knee) is listed as out for Sunday's game against Orlando, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports. White isn't available for Sunday's contest, as expected. With Jaylen Brown (Achilles) also ruled out and Payton Pritchard (foot) listed as doubtful, Baylor Scheierman, Hugo Gonzalez and Dalano Banton should see a big uptick in minutes in the backcourt, with a spot start likely for two of them.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Good to go Friday

White (knee) is available for Friday's game against the Pelicans, Jay King of The Athletic reports. As expected, White will shed his probable tag due to a right knee contusion and suit up in both halves of this back-to-back set. The veteran guard has been less involved on the offensive end of late, averaging 10.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 0.6 steals over the last five games. However, he has still been efficient over that stretch, during which he has shot 51.4 percent from the field and 45.8 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Cleared to play Thursday

White (knee) is available for Thursday's game against New York, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports. White was in danger of missing this contest because of a right-knee contusion. However, he is good to go. With Jaylen Brown (Achilles) ruled out, White should see additional scoring opportunities.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Questionable for Thursday

White (knee) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Knicks. White is dealing with a right knee contusion and may be held out of the front end of this back-to-back set. If the veteran guard isn't cleared to play, Payton Pritchard would likely step into the starting five, while Baylor Scheierman and Hugo Gonzalez would be candidates to see increased playing time.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Passive again in victory

White chipped in 12 points (4-5 FG, 4-5 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists and one steal over 37 minutes during Tuesday's 113-102 win over the Hornets. White continues to serve as the third or fourth option on offense, having attempted no more than seven shot attempts in three of the past four games. A recent lack of defensive production has only added to White's overall decline, as he sits outside the top 150 in seven games over the past two weeks.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Good to go Monday

White (knee) is available for Monday's game against the Hawks, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. White will take the court Monday after missing Sunday's matchup against the Hornets with a bruised right knee. He'll look to close out March on a high note after averaging 17.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.2 steals through his first 13 showings this month.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Probable for Monday

White (knee) is probable for Monday's game against the Hawks. After missing Sunday's game against Charlotte, White is expected to suit up for the second leg of this back-to-back set. He's likely to see a bump in usage as well with Jayson Tatum (rest) getting the night off for maintenance.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Won't play Sunday

White (knee) isn't available for Sunday's game against Charlotte, according to Bobby Krivitsky of Forbes.com. White won't play Sunday, and he should be considered questionable for Monday's game against the Hawks. With Jaylen Brown (Achilles) also out, Jayson Tatum should take on a bigger load offensively. Payton Pritchard, Baylor Scheierman, Sam Hauser and Hugo Gonzalez should also be more involved on the scoring end, regardless of their roles.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Good to go Friday

White (knee) is good to go for Friday's game against the Hawks, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports. White was previously listed as questionable, but he will give it a go against the Hawks. Jaylen Brown (calf) is getting the night off, so White may see a bump in usage Friday.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Struggles with shot in win

White finished Wednesday's 119-109 win over the Thunder with 12 points (3-11 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and six assists across 33 minutes. Jaylen Brown carried the Celtics to victory in this matchup, and while White had some decent numbers in the assists department, he had a rough go with his shot. White is expected to operate as the Celtics' No. 3 option on offense now that Jayson Tatum is back in the mix, and White's numbers have suffered because of that. He's gone four games in a row without surpassing the 15-point mark, a stretch in which he's averaging 13.0 points per game while shooting just 38.8 percent from the floor and 22.2 percent from three-point range.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Scores 15 points in loss Sunday

White posted 15 points (6-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist and three steals in 36 minutes during Sunday's 102-92 loss to the Timberwolves. White has failed to surpass the 15-point plateau in four of his last five games, and the veteran guard has experienced a bit of regression now that Jayson Tatum is entrenched as the No. 2 option on offense. White is averaging 18.5 points per game since the beginning of March while shooting 31.5 percent from deep across 11 appearances. For the sake of comparison, he averaged 21.3 points per game in his first six games this month as opposed to 15.2 in the last five.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Struggles from long range

White registered 14 points (6-15 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals over 36 minutes during Friday's 117-112 victory over Memphis. The Celtics ended up getting the win, but White didn't have his best performance. Even though managers in point-based leagues will be happy to see White leaving his mark in the five major categories, this game marked the third out of the last four in which White failed to surpass the 15-point mark. White has shot just 32.4 percent from three-point range over that four-game stretch, and as low as that number looks, it's not too far from his season-long average of 32.6 percent -- a clear downgrade after he made at least 38.0 percent from deep in the previous three campaigns.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Nails five triples Monday

White finished Monday's 120-112 win over Phoenix with 21 points (8-16 FG, 5-11 3Pt), five assists, four rebounds, one steal and one block over 29 minutes. White did most of his scoring damage in the second quarter with 16 points (including four three-pointers) and finished tied with Jayson Tatum for the second-most points on the Celtics behind Jaylen Brown (41). It was the second time since Feb. 1 that White played less than 30 minutes as he found himself in foul trouble, but he still put together a solid stat line. He has averaged 20.5 points, 5.8 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 3.1 threes, 1.0 steals and 0.9 blocks over 34.2 minutes per game since March 1.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Cleared to play Saturday

White (knee) is available for Saturday's game against the Wizards, Bobby Krivitsky of Forbes.com reports. White has been given the green light to return from a one-game absence due to a right knee contusion, which will likely result in Payton Pritchard reverting to a bench role for Saturday's contest. In his last outing against the Spurs on Tuesday, White finished with 34 points, seven assists, five rebounds, one block and three three-pointers over 40 minutes.

  • Celtics' Derrick White: Probable for Saturday

White (knee) is probable for Saturday's game versus the Wizards. White is on track to return from a one-game absence Saturday evening, which will likely result in Payton Pritchard heading back to the second unit. Check back for official confirmation on White's status closer to Saturday's tipoff.
