Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Held in check vs. Rockets
Mitchell notched 21 points (8-17 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 114-104 loss to the Rockets.
Mitchell struggled to find the bottom of the net from downtown, leading to a below-average scoring night by his standards. Wednesday's showing snapped a streak of three straight games putting up 30 or more points. Mitchell also struggled to take care of the basketball, committing a team-high four turnovers in the loss.

Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Drops in 37 points with seven dimes
Mitchell piled up 37 points (14-22 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 5-7 FT), seven assists, five rebounds and one steal across 36 minutes during Monday's 118-106 win over the Bucks.
This was Mitchell's third straight 30-plus point performance, and it was nice to see him get things back on track from three-point range after going 9-for-38 from distance in his previous three outings. It's early, but Mitchell is currently hitting career highs in points (30.9), field-goal percentage (50.9) and free-throw attempts (7.5).

Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Another 30-point effort
Mitchell finished Saturday's 108-100 victory over the Grizzlies with 30 points (10-21 FG, 4-13 3Pt, 6-9 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals in 33 minutes.
Mitchell continues to put the Cavaliers on his back, scoring at least 30 points for the seventh time this season. With Darius Garland still on the sideline as a result of an ongoing toe injury, Mitchell has been tasked with doing more on the offensive end. Through 12 games, he has averaged 30.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 4.0 three-pointers, which is good enough for top-10 value in standard leagues.

Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Lives at charity stripe in return
Mitchell tallied 31 points (7-18 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 15-17 FT), six assists, six rebounds, two blocks and one steal over 31 minutes during the Cavaliers' 126-113 loss to the Raptors on Thursday.
Mitchell sat out the first leg of the Cavaliers' back-to-back set Wednesday against the Heat due to rest purposes, but the All-NBA guard was given the green light to play Thursday. He struggled with his efficiency from the field and coughed up a season-high seven turnovers, but he led both teams in scoring thanks to his work at the free-throw line. Mitchell has scored at least 24 points in 10 of 11 outings, and he has opened the 2025-26 regular season averaging 30.5 points on 50.0 percent shooting (including 38.9 percent from three on 10.3 3PA/G), 5.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals over 34.0 minutes per game.

Mitchell and Evan Mobley were held out of Wednesday's game against Miami, but both will be ready for the second leg of Cleveland's back-to-back against the Raptors. Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Double-doubles in narrow loss
Mitchell racked up 28 points (10-28 FG, 3-16 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 15 rebounds, eight assists and one steal in 41 minutes during Monday's 138-140 overtime defeat to the Heat.
Mitchell had a tough time getting his shot to fall with Miami playing some suffocating defense. Still, he set a new career high in rebounds and came through big in overtime, hitting a miraculous, twisting fadeaway corner-3 with 0.4 seconds left to tie the game. Unfortunately, the Cavaliers had a miscommunication on their final possession and allowed Andrew Wiggins a wide-open lane to the hoop for a game-winning, alley-oop dunk, and that was all she wrote for Cleveland.

Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Scores 29 points Saturday
Mitchell had 29 points (10-24 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, six assists and a steal across 35 minutes in Saturday's 128-122 win over the Bulls.
Mitchell co-led the scoring for the Cavaliers alongside De'Andre Hunter, who also posted 29 points, and Mitchell had another strong showing as a playmaker with six assists. This is his fourth straight game with at least 24 points and five assists, and he's the barometer of the Cavaliers' offense thanks to his role both as an initiator and finisher.

Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Paces scoring attack
Mitchell totaled 24 points (8-21 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, five assists, four steals and one block in 26 minutes during Friday's 148-114 win over the Wizards.
Mitchell was one of two Cleveland starters to knock down four triples and posted a strong all-around line. The star guard was coming off a 46-point showing Wednesday against the 76ers, so while Friday's performance wasn't quite up to the same standard, his production was a bit more balanced across the board.

Mitchell set the tone early with 15 points in the first quarter and helped the Cavaliers close things out with 25 points in the second half. The All-Pro guard has scored at least 31 points in five of seven games, and his 46 points were tied for the second most in his career. Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Good to go Wednesday
Mitchell (hamstring) will play in Wednesday's game against the Celtics, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Questionable for Wednesday
Mitchell is questionable for Wednesday's game in Boston due to tightness in his left hamstring.
Mitchell is a late addition to Wednesday's injury report, so he's essentially heading for a game-time decision. If he's not able to give it a go, Evan Mobley would see a sizeable uptick in usage, and there would be more minutes available for guys like Craig Porter and Dean Wade.
