Rockets' Kevon Harris: Full stat line in SL win
Harris notched 18 points (6-13 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and four steals across 31 minutes in Saturday's 104-101 Summer League win over the Timberwolves.
Harris stuffed the stat sheet in the team's Summer League finale, matching the game-high mark in steals and dishing out a team-high-tying six assists. He also led the squad in three-pointers. Harris signed a two-way pact with Houston this summer after an impressive 2024-25 campaign with the G League's College Park Skyhawks, during which he averaged 19.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.5 steals across 31.1 minutes per game in 44 outings.

Rockets' Kevon Harris: Flirts with double-double
Harris finished with 14 points (5-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-6 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals across 25 minutes during Thursday's 102-83 Summer League loss to the Trail Blazers.
Harris was one of the few bright spots in a blowout loss, leading his club on the boards. He struggled to find his groove from beyond the arc, but this was still a solid performance by the 28-year-old, who missed Monday's Summer League action while tending to an ankle injury.

Rockets' Kevon Harris: Out Monday vs. Hawks
Harris (ankle) won't play in Monday's Summer League game against the Hawks, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.
After logging 28 minutes during Sunday's 98-83 loss to the Pistons, Harris will take a seat for the second part of Houston's back-to-back due to an ankle injury. The Rockets could be exercising caution with the 28-year-old guard, who'll aim to get back into the lineup for Thursday's tilt against the Trail Blazers.

Harris has scored in double figures in each of his two appearances to kick off Summer League. The 28-year-old pro recently signed a two-way deal with the Rockets, and he will likely spend most of his time with the G League affiliate this upcoming season.

Rockets' Kevon Harris: Joins Houston
Harris signed a two-way contract with the Rockets on Saturday, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Houston had an open two-way spot after Jack McVeigh left for Atlanta. Harris was the G League Next Up Game MVP and signed a 10-day deal with the Hawks last season. In 30 G League appearances, he produced averages of 19.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.6 steals.

Kevon Harris: Contract terminated
The Hawks terminated Harris' 10-day contract Tuesday.
Harris still had a week left on his 10-day deal after signing with the Hawks on Saturday, but the team parted ways with him to clear room on the 15-man roster for center Dominick Barlow, who was upgraded from a two-way deal. The 27-year-old swingman didn't appear in any games during his brief stint with the Hawks and will likely return to the G League's College Park Skyhawks, with whom he had been playing before signing his 10-day deal.

Hawks' Kevon Harris: Receives 10-day deal
Harris agreed Friday with the Hawks on a 10-day contract, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Harris will join the parent club after he had spent the entire 2024-25 season in the G League with the College Park Skyhawks upon getting cut by Atlanta during training camp. Over his 34 appearances for College Park, Harris has averaged 19.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.6 three-pointers and 1.4 steals across 31.0 minutes per contest while shooting 46.4 percent from the field and 44.9 percent from downtown. The 27-year-old wing previously saw NBA action with the Magic over the past two seasons, making 36 appearances in total.

The Hawks waived Harris on Friday, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Hawks' Kevon Harris: Gets starting nod Thursday
Harris is in the starting lineup for Thursday's preseason game against the Thunder, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
With Trae Young resting, Harris will get the chance to impress the coaching staff right from the get-go, as he'll start in the backcourt alongside Kobe Bufkin and Dyson Daniels. Harris is playing on an Exhibit 10 deal, so his chances of cracking the regular-season roster are slim, even if he dazzles in this game.

Hawks' Kevon Harris: Not starting after all
Updating a previous report, Harris won't be in the starting lineup for Thursday's preseason game against the Thunder, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Harris was initially announced as a starter for Thursday's preseason finale, but in the end, it'll be David Roddy who gets the nod. Harris is expected to see minutes off the bench.

Hawks' Kevon Harris: Signs training-camp deal
Harris signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Hawks on Wednesday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Harris spent some time with the Clippers in August but didn't quite make the cut, and he'll now get a chance to latch on in Atlanta. The Hawks have all three two-way slots filled, so it's likely Harris ends up with the team's G League affiliate.

Clippers' Kevon Harris: Inks training camp deal with LAC
Harris has signed a training camp deal with the Clippers, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
It's possible that with an impressive training camp, Harris may be able to land a two-way deal with the Clippers for the upcoming season, but it would take a cluster of injuries for him to gain any relevancy in fantasy hoops.

Kevon Harris: Not retained by Orlando
The Magic declined to extend Harris a $1.87 million qualifying offer Friday, making him an unrestricted free agent, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports.
Harris spent the past two seasons in Orlando after striking a two-year, two-way deal with the Magic in the summer of 2022. He appeared in 34 games with Orlando in 2022-23, but with the club becoming more competitive and reaching the playoffs in 2023-24, Harris was often inactive and saw action in just two contests at the NBA level. Harris was solid at G League level with the Osceola Magic in 2023-24 -- he averaged 16.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.9 three-pointers and 1.0 steals in 28.8 minutes per game while shooting 49.2 percent from the field and 38.1 percent from three-point range over 27 appearances -- but since he already turned 27 years old earlier this month, it's unlikely that another organization will view him as a development piece worthy of a two-way spot during the upcoming season.

Magic's Kevon Harris: Not available Friday
Harris is listed as out for Friday's game against the Wizards in a coach's decision.
Harris -- who is one of the Magic's two-way players -- has yet to make his NBA or G League debut this season. He was sidelined to begin the season while recovering from right knee soreness, but he's been ruled out for Orlando's more recent contests due to what the Magic have attributed to coach's decisions. The Magic haven't provided an explanation behind Harris' recent absences, but it's possible the team is holding him out in order to conserve his games count at the NBA level. Two-way players are eligible to be active for up to 50 games in a given season.

Harris is listed as out for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets due to a coach's decision.
Harris has yet to play this season. It's unclear why the Magic are listing him on the injury report when he doesn't have an injury, but the second-year wing isn't on fantasy radars, even in deep leagues.

Harris won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Bulls due to a coach's decision.
