Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Signs with Warriors
Melton will sign a two-year, $11 million deal with the Warriors, Shams Charania of ESPN reports Wednesday.
Melton previously declined his $3.45 million player option after rebuilding his market value with a strong 2025-26 campaign. He averaged a career-high 12.3 points along with 3.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.6 steals in 23.0 minutes per contest across 49 regular-season games (24 starts). Look for him to play a similar role moving forward, though the Warriors are expected to be very busy this offseason.

Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Pops for game-high 21 in win
Melton supplied 21 points (7-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-5 FT), four rebounds, five assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Tuesday's 110-105 victory over Sacramento.
The 21 points led all scorers on the night and represented Melton's best scoring effort since he delivered 27 points against the Wizards on March 16. The 27-year-old guard remained in the starting five Tuesday while Stephen Curry came off the bench for a second straight game, but the two could swap places once Curry is cleared for a full workload. Melton has started 22 straight games since Curry was originally shut down in early February with a knee injury, averaging 13.7 points, 3.5 boards, 2.9 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.7 threes in 25.2 minutes over that span.

Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Listed as questionable
Melton is questionable for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers due to a left thumb strain.
Melton is at risk of missing both ends of this back-to-back set. Will Richard and Pat Spencer would have a clearer pathway to playing in the backcourt if Melton is ultimately downgraded to out Thursday.

Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Won't go Wednesday
Melton has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Spurs due to a left thumb strain.

Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Available versus Denver
Melton (knee) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Sunday's game against Denver.
Melton didn't play Friday versus Washington. However, he was unavailable for maintenance purposes, so it appeared likely he would be back for this one. With Melton back in the mix, Will Richard (heel), who got the start against the Wizards, will presumably head back to the bench, assuming he can shed his questionable designation and suit up.

Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Ruled out Friday
Melton (knee) won't play in Friday's game against Washington.
Melton nearly had a double-double in Wednesday's 109-106 win over Brooklyn. However, he is now getting the night off to rest before presumably returning Sunday versus Denver. While Melton is sidelined, Gary Payton, Will Richard and Pat Spencer should see more work, with one of them likely moving into the starting lineup.

Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Questionable versus Hawks
Melton (knee) is questionable for Saturday's game against Atlanta.
Melton had only five points in Wednesday's loss to Boston. While he managed to turn things around offensively versus Detroit, the Warriors may not have him Saturday, the second of back-to-back outings. With Gary Payton II (knee) also in danger of missing this one, Pat Spencer, averaging 11.2 points, 5.2 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 12 starts throughout the campaign, could find himself back in the starting lineup. If anything, Spencer might see more work. The same would apply to Will Richard.
