Allen has been diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture in his left finger, jeopardizing his status for Friday. If the star big man cannot play, Larry Nance or Dean Wade would likely be the direct beneficiaries from a fantasy perspective.

Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Cruises to 20-point night
Allen totaled 20 points (7-12 FG, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Monday's 116-95 victory over the Pistons.
Allen looked sharp on the offensive end and led the frontcourt in scoring. Consistency has been a concern through his first four appearances of the new season, as he's been held to eight points or fewer in two games but has also reached the 20-point mark twice. It was nice to see Allen piece together a strong performance on a night that Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley were also effective, proving there is plenty of production to go around.

Allen posted 22 points (8-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-9 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals in 30 minutes during Friday's 131-124 win over the Nets.
Allen posted an efficient shooting line, needing only 11 attempts from the field to reach the 20-point threshold. He also showed up on the boards, as both Allen and Evan Mobley combined for 15 total rebounds. This was a reassuring sight for fantasy managers after Allen was held to four points on 1-for-4 from the field in Wednesday's season opener against the Knicks.

Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Quiet in season opener
Allen dropped four points (1-4 FG, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, two steals and an assist over 28 minutes in Wednesday's 119-111 loss to the Knicks.
Allen only attempted four shots Wednesday, which only occurred nine times during the 2024-25 season. He also shoots 71.1 percent from the free-throw line and 64.1 percent from the field in his career, so expect his numbers to trend towards those lines and look less like Wednesday's stat line as the season progresses. The Cavs' starting center will look to get right Friday against the Nets.
