Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Double-double in Friday's win
Zubac closed with 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-4 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and three blocks over 34 minutes during Friday's 126-124 win over New Orleans.
The double-double was his second straight after a bit of a slow start to the season on the glass, while the three blocks were a season high for Zubac. The 28-year-old center is coming off a breakout 2024-25 campaign, but so far in 2025-26, he's taken a slight step back, averaging 15.2 points, 8.6 boards, 2.4 assists and 1.4 blocks in 28.8 minutes over five games. On the bright side, he's shooting 90.9 percent from the free-throw line, which would be a massive improvement after he posted a career-worst 66.1 percent mark from the charity stripe last season.

Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Posts double-double in loss
Zubac finished with 14 points (7-12 FG), 13 rebounds, one assist and one block across 24 minutes in Tuesday's 98-79 loss to the Warriors.
Zubac delivered an efficient performance and finished as one of just three Clippers players to score in double figures. The big man also dominated the boards, grabbing a game- and season-high 13 rebounds en route to his first double-double of the campaign. Over four regular-season appearances, he's averaging 15.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.0 blocks in 27.8 minutes per contest.

Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Posts 21-8-3-2 line in win
Zubac finished Sunday's 114-107 victory over the Trail Blazers with 21 points (9-14 FG, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 35 minutes.
Zubac went to work against the sophomore, Donovan Clingan, and dominated the matchup. Zubac would regularly gain deep post position and then proceed to muscle in buckets through the Portland defenders. It was a favorable matchup for Zubac, which helped him log a season-high 35 minutes, but it'll be interesting to see what his playing time looks like Tuesday with a meeting against the small-ball Warriors.

Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Scores team-high 19 points in defeat
Zubac accumulated 19 points (9-13 FG, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one block in 27 minutes during Wednesday's 129-108 loss to the Jazz.
Zubac was a bright spot in the Clippers disappointing debut. He led the team in points with 19, as they struggled against a hot-shooting Jazz squad. Zubac was a double-double machine in 2024-25, tying Nikola Jokic for 2nd most (59). However, the Jazz missed only 11 shots total in the first half, limiting rebound opportunities and ultimately putting the game out of reach. The Clippers' next outing is Friday against the Phoenix Suns.

Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Double-double against Denver
Zubac contributed 11 points (5-6 FG, 1-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 23 minutes during Sunday's 102-94 preseason loss to the Nuggets.
Matched up against Nikola Jokic in exhibition action, Zubac held his own and produced the game's only double-double. The 28-year-old center is coming off a breakout 2024-25 season, but his career-high 32.8 minutes a contest may get scaled back after the Clippers bolstered their frontcourt with John Collins and Brook Lopez over the summer.

Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Effective in limited minutes
Zubac produced 15 points (7-8 FG, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal across 16 minutes of Thursday's 142-95 preseason win over the Guangzhou Loong-Lions.
Zubac has been the talk of the town since Media Day in Los Angeles. Clippers general manager Lawrence Frank raved about Zubac possibly becoming an All-Star, as the team expects him to build on the success he had during the 2024-25 regular season when he produced averages of 16.8 points, 12.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.1 blocks and 0.7 steals. With Brook Lopez comfortably behind him, Zubac could be poised to make another positive step in 2025-26.
