  • Celtics' Chris Boucher: Limited to 13 minutes

Boucher closed with four points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and one steal over 13 minutes during Saturday's 128-101 loss to the Rockets. Boucher picked up four fouls in 13 minutes, continuing what has been a rough start to his career in Boston. Despite a promising preseason, it appears as though Boucher is not a priority right now, averaging just 2.0 points and 1.8 rebounds in 11.3 minutes per game. There is no reason to consider him in fantasy, even in deeper formats.

  • Celtics' Chris Boucher: Quiet in season opener

Boucher recorded six points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 16 minutes during Wednesday's 117-116 loss to the 76ers. Boucher failed to surpass the 20-minute mark despite an early injury to fellow big Luka Garza. Boucher was also noticeably absent for most of the fourth quarter. For the moment, the 32-year-old veteran is behind Neemias Queta, Xavier Tillman and Sam Hauser at the center and power forward positions. Expect Boston's frontcourt situation to be in constant flux as the team struggles to find a winning combination from multiple journeymen reserves.

  • Celtics' Chris Boucher: Not starting Wednesday

Boucher is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the 76ers, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports. Boucher started in all of Boston's preseason games, so while he'll come off the bench in Wednesday's opener, he could still find his way back into the first unit at some point. That said, as a reserve player in Boston, he's not the most attractive option in standard formats.

  • Celtics' Chris Boucher: Scores 19 points with full line

Boucher scored 19 points (7-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT) during Friday's preseason loss to the Raptors, adding nine rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and two turnovers across 23 minutes. Boucher has started the first two preseason games for Boston, so it'll be interesting to see if he remains a starter for Sunday's game against the Cavs. If he can open the season as a starter in Boston, he could provide some low-end value in deep leagues, but he'll be inconsistent.

  • Celtics' Chris Boucher: Struggles from deep in win

Boucher finished with 11 points (3-9 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, one steal and one block across 20 minutes during Wednesday's 121-103 win over the Grizzlies. Boucher couldn't get it going from beyond the arc, as he hit only one of his six attempts from deep as a starter during this preseason matchup. He did make somewhat of an impact defensively, however.

  • Celtics' Chris Boucher: Agrees to deal with Celtics

Boucher (illness) has agreed to sign a one-year, $3.3 million contract with the Celtics, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. After spending the last seven years with the Raptors, Boucher will land with Boston to help shore up the team's new-look frontcourt. It's plausible that veteran big man will open the 2025-26 season in a starting role, considering Boston has left Al Horford unsigned in addition to trading away Kristaps Porzingis and Georges Niang this offseason. Over 50 regular-season contests last year, Boucher averaged 10.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 1.4 three-pointers in 17.2 minutes per game.

Boucher (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Spurs, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Boucher's season has officially come to an end due to an illness. The Oregon product will miss a 23rd consecutive game Sunday. The 31-year-old forward played in 50 games this season, averaging 10.0 points and 4.5 rebounds, shooting 49.2 percent from the floor and 36.3 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Questionable to play Friday

Boucher (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against the Hornets, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Boucher has missed the Raptors' last three games due to injuries, and a decision on his status will likely be made closer to Friday's 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff. Orlando Robinson and Jonathan Mogbo could see more time in the frontcourt if Boucher ends up being ruled out once again.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Late scratch Sunday

Boucher has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Spurs due to an illness, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Boucher wasn't included on the Raptors' initial injury report for Sunday's contest, but he may have fallen ill overnight or earlier in the morning. The big man hasn't been part of the rotation since Feb. 26, so his absence won't open up minutes for other players.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Set to play Saturday

Boucher (teeth) is available for Saturday's game versus the Wizards, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports. Boucher has been upgraded from questionable to available Saturday after missing Toronto's previous contest due to a wisdom tooth extraction. However, with Jakob Poeltl and Orlando Robinson both healthy, it's unclear how much playing time Boucher will receive against Washington.

Boucher went scoreless Wednesday, just a few days after recording his third double-double of the season versus the Suns. The 32-year-old's scoring has been hit-or-miss as of late, posting two double-digit performances and a pair of scoreless outings in the month of February.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Available against Memphis

Boucher (illness) is available for Wednesday's game against Memphis, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. After being listed as questionable with an illness, Boucher is good to go following a one-game absence Tuesday against the Knicks. The veteran big man could be primed for an amplified role Wednesday, with Jakob Poeltl (hip) sitting on the sidelines. Over his last five outings, Boucher has averaged 13.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.4 steals and 2.4 threes in 17.8 minutes.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Listed as questionable

Boucher (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Boucher was unable to play in Tuesday's game against the Knicks and remains day-to-day. If he does get the green light, Boucher and Kelly Olynyk could have some streaming appeal with Jakob Poeltl (hip) already ruled out.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Under the weather

Boucher (illness) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Knicks, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. After missing Friday's loss to the Bulls due to an illness, Boucher was able to return for Sunday's 115-108 win over the Clippers, during which he logged nine points, four rebounds and one block over 16 minutes. It appears he is still battling through the illness, which puts him in jeopardy of missing Tuesday's clash. Orlando Robinson and Jonathan Mogbo would stand to see more playing time off the bench if Boucher is not cleared to play.
