Boucher scored 19 points (7-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT) during Friday's preseason loss to the Raptors, adding nine rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and two turnovers across 23 minutes.
Boucher has started the first two preseason games for Boston, so it'll be interesting to see if he remains a starter for Sunday's game against the Cavs. If he can open the season as a starter in Boston, he could provide some low-end value in deep leagues, but he'll be inconsistent.

Boucher finished with 11 points (3-9 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, one steal and one block across 20 minutes during Wednesday's 121-103 win over the Grizzlies.
Boucher couldn't get it going from beyond the arc, as he hit only one of his six attempts from deep as a starter during this preseason matchup. He did make somewhat of an impact defensively, however.

Celtics' Chris Boucher: Agrees to deal with Celtics
Boucher (illness) has agreed to sign a one-year, $3.3 million contract with the Celtics, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
After spending the last seven years with the Raptors, Boucher will land with Boston to help shore up the team's new-look frontcourt. It's plausible that veteran big man will open the 2025-26 season in a starting role, considering Boston has left Al Horford unsigned in addition to trading away Kristaps Porzingis and Georges Niang this offseason. Over 50 regular-season contests last year, Boucher averaged 10.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 1.4 three-pointers in 17.2 minutes per game.

Boucher's season has officially come to an end due to an illness. The Oregon product will miss a 23rd consecutive game Sunday. The 31-year-old forward played in 50 games this season, averaging 10.0 points and 4.5 rebounds, shooting 49.2 percent from the floor and 36.3 percent from beyond the arc.
