Caroline most recently played with the G League's South Bay Lakers, with his last appearance for the club coming in late January before a groin injury sidelined him for the next month and a half. With the G League canceling the remainder of its season in March, Caroline, now healthy, is able to pursue work overseas. Prior to getting hurt, Caroline averaged 11.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 three-pointers in 21.8 minutes per game over 15 appearances with South Bay.

Jordan Caroline: Waived by Lakers

Lakers' Jordan Caroline: To miss time following surgery
Caroline underwent surgery on his left hand Sept. 6 and is expected to remain out until the beginning of November, Mark Stein of The New York Times reports.
Caroline's surgery was successful, but he won't be cleared for game action until early-to-mid-November at the earliest. This shouldn't have much of an impact on the Lakers, considering Caroline wasn't expected to contribute much this season.
