Wizards' Khris Middleton: Won't play Saturday
Middleton (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Chicago.
Middleton struggled during the Wizards' 140-110 blowout loss to the Raptors on Friday, when he posted two points (1-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt), four assists, two rebounds and one block over 24 minutes. He will be held out of the second leg of the Wizards' back-to-back set Saturday while managing a right knee injury, but he'll likely be cleared to return to action Tuesday against the Hawks. With the veteran wing sidelined, Cam Whitmore and Corey Kispert are candidates for increased minutes.

Wizards' Khris Middleton: Posts 14 in loss
Middleton ended with 14 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 27 minutes during Sunday's 129-106 loss to the Nets.
Middleton was able to get back on track scoring-wise Sunday, dropping 14 on five made free throws after averaging 5.8 points and no free throws in his previous five contests. Middleton has not been efficient offensively for Washington, averaging just 8.4 points on 43.9 percent from the field and 26.1 percent from the three-point line after his 23-point season debut.

Wizards' Khris Middleton: Rough season continues
Middleton accumulated six points (3-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and three steals across 26 minutes during Monday's 137-135 overtime loss to the Pistons.
Middleton returned from a one-game absence, continuing what has been a passive season, to say the least. The Wizards seem content with managing Middleton through any minor ailment, a trend that is likely to see him miss multiple games as the season progresses. He has scored a total of just 22 points across his past four games, barely featuring on the offensive end. These factors all point to him no longer being a must-roster fantasy asset.

Middleton sat out Saturday's loss to Dallas due to right knee injury management but is off the injury report ahead of Monday's matchup, setting him up to return after a one-game absence. Wizards' Khris Middleton: Muted performance in loss
Middleton had six points (3-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and two assists across 20 minutes during Thursday's 127-108 loss to the Thunder.
With the return of Bilal Coulibaly, the Wizards opted to run a bigger lineup Thursday. Although Middleton started this game, his long-term outlook remains pretty bleak as the Wizards continue to keep their focus on guys like Coulibaly and Kyshawn George. Plus, Cam Whitmore is likely to become more involved down the road.

Wizards' Khris Middleton: Looks sharp despite loss
Middleton logged 23 points (9-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds and three assists across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 133-120 loss to the Bucks.
Middleton's heroic return to Milwaukee was a successful one on an individual level as he put up 23 points and finished second on the team in shot attempts. While he's obviously a valued veteran presence on the team, it's fair to wonder just how long the Wizards will rely on him in what is supposed to be a rebuilding season. He's likely to see his name in the rumor mill quite a bit this season.

Wizards' Khris Middleton: Healthy for camp
Wizards general manager Will Dawkins said Wednesday that Middleton (knee) will be ready for training camp, Chase Hughes of Monumental Sports Network reports.
Middleton missed the end of the 2024-25 campaign with a right knee contusion, but it didn't linger far into the offseason. Middleton will be playing on an expiring $33.3 million contract this season, and it will be interesting to see how much he's utilized, with the Wizards in the early stages of a rebuild.
