Trail Blazers' Jrue Holiday: Season-high 13 assists
Holiday totaled 11 points (4-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 13 assists, three rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes during Friday's 109-107 victory over the Nuggets.
Holiday continues to turn back the clock, handing out a season-high 13 assists. The veteran finished outside the top-200 players in standard leagues last season, playing as a supporting cast member alongside a talented main cast in Boston. Now in Portland, Holiday is basically running the show, averaging 18.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.7 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.3 three-pointers in 32.3 minutes per game.

Trail Blazers' Jrue Holiday: Drops team-high 27 in win
Holiday had 27 points (10-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, eight assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 136-134 victory over the Jazz.
The 27 points were a team high on the night and a season high for Holiday, who's delivered more than 20 points in three straight contests. The 35-year-old appears up to the task of being one of the focal points of the Portland offense, as opposed to being a part of the supporting cast as he was in Boston, and through five games, Holiday is averaging 19.6 points, 7.8 assists, 5.4 boards, 2.6 threes and 1.4 steals while shooting 51.4 percent from the floor and 38.2 percent from three-point range.

Trail Blazers' Jrue Holiday: Stays hot in win
Holiday registered 24 points (10-15 FG, 4-7 3Pt), five rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal over 30 minutes during Monday's 122-108 victory over the Lakers.
Holiday continues his red-hot start to the season as the Trail Blazers improved to 2-2. Through four games, Holiday is on pace for a fourth-round valuation in nine-category formats with averages of 17.5 points, 7.8 assists, 5.5 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.3 three-pointers in 31.4 minutes per contest.

Trail Blazers' Jrue Holiday: Posts 21-6-7 line in loss
Holiday totaled 21 points (7-14 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds and seven assists over 34 minutes during Sunday's 114-107 loss to the Clippers.
The 35-year-old point guard is having a resurgent season with the Trail Blazers, as he's a significantly larger part of the offensive scheme than he was in Boston. Through the first three games of the season, he's been flirting with top-75 value behind averages of 15.7 points, 8.3 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 2.0 triples per contest.

Trail Blazers' Jrue Holiday: Double-double in win over GSW
Holiday supplied 12 points (5-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt), five rebounds, 11 assists and one steal across 28 minutes during Friday's 139-119 win over Golden State.
The veteran point guard recorded his first double-double of the season in his second game as a Trail Blazer, while scoring 12-plus points in both contests. Having a steady hand like Holiday to run the show on the court could be key for Portland while the situation around head coach Chauncey Billups unfolds, but it remains to be seen how minutes will be divvied up in the backcourt once Scoot Henderson (hamstring) gets healthy.

Trail Blazers' Jrue Holiday: Logs diverse line in starting role
Holiday finished Wednesday's 118-114 loss to the Timberwolves with 14 points (5-15 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, seven assists and three steals across 33 minutes.
It will be interesting to see how Holiday will be utilized once Scoot Henderson (hamstring) gets back up to speed. Once considered as Damian Lillard's replacement two seasons ago, inconsistency and stronger play from Anfernee Simons hindered Henderson's development. Either Henderson will finally get his opportunity to assume the starting role, or Holiday will fend him off as Simons did. The outcome will have to wait until mid-November, leaving Holiday as the clear starter for now.

Trail Blazers' Jrue Holiday: Gets hot from downtown in loss
Holiday registered 24 points (8-13 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Thursday's 132-129 preseason loss to the Jazz.
Holiday was an absolute menace from beyond the arc, scoring 18 of his 24 points from deep. He was equally as effective when distributing the basketball, serving up a team-high seven dimes. Holiday has put together two strong performances to close out the preseason, building some momentum heading into Wednesday's season opener against Minnesota.

Trail Blazers' Jrue Holiday: Looks good despite loss
Holiday produced 13 points (6-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six assists, four rebounds and two turnovers in 27 minutes of Wednesday's 118-111 preseason loss to the Warriors.
This was Holiday's third appearance of the preseason, and it was arguably his best. Overall, he's produced averages of 9.7 points, 5.3 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 21.9 minutes per contest. Holiday is expected to be the starting point guard this season, even when Scoot Henderson returns from his torn hamstring. The duo may share the floor at times, as well.
