76ers' Eric Gordon: Drills two triples in 11 minutes
Gordon contributed eight points (3-4 FG), one steal, two triples and one turnover in 11 minutes off the bench during Monday's 136-124 win over the Magic.
Gordon was collecting DNP-CDs through Philly's first two games, but he was able to crack the rotation Monday evening as part of the fallout from Joel Embiid's rest day, and to his credit, he did drill two big triples down the stretch to keep the 76ers on top for the win. It was a solid showing for the veteran, but he'll likely return to a negligible reserve role for Tuesday's game in D.C.

76ers' Eric Gordon: Out of action in win
Gordon didn't play in Wednesday's 117-116 win over Boston.
Despite the absence of Jared McCain (thumb), Gordon remained a spectator in the season opener. VJ Edgecombe's immediate emergence also doesn't bode well for Gordon's chances at playing time, so the latter will likely be more of a veteran presence than on-court contributor going forward.

76ers' Eric Gordon: Recovered from wrist surgery
Gordon (wrist) managed two points (0-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT) and one assist in 13 minutes during Thursday's 99-84 preseason loss to the Knicks.
After undergoing right wrist surgery at the end of February, the veteran sharpshooter has a clean bill of health for 2025-26. Until Jared McCain (thumb) is ready to play, it's possible Gordon will open the new campaign as part of the Philadelphia rotation.

76ers' Eric Gordon: Inks pact with Philadelphia
Gordon (wrist) agreed to a one-year, $3.63 million contract with the 76ers on Tuesday, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
Gordon will return to the 76ers on a veteran minimum deal after declining his $3.4 million player option Sunday. The 36-year-old swingman sprained his right wrist before the All-Star break and underwent surgery at the end of February. However, he's expected to be ready for training camp. Gordon averaged 6.8 points, 1.7 assists and 1.2 rebounds across 19.7 minutes per game in 39 regular-season appearances (13 starts) during the 2024-25 campaign.

Eric Gordon: Will decline player option
Gordon (wrist) will decline his $3.4 million player option for 2025-26 on Sunday and become an unrestricted free agent, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Before spraining his wrist shortly before the All-Star break, the veteran guard played in 39 regular-season games for the 76ers and posted career-low averages in points (6.8), rebounds (1.2) and minutes (19.7) while shooting 42.6 percent from the floor and 40.9 percent from beyond the arc. Gordon underwent successful surgery at the end of February and was given a three-month re-evaluation timeline, so he should have a healthy offseason ahead of him.

76ers' Eric Gordon: Undergoing wrist surgery
The 76ers announced Tuesday that Gordon (wrist) will undergo surgery Wednesday, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Gordon has missed five straight games with a wrist sprain and could be facing an extended absence. It's unclear what his timeline for a return is, but that should become clearer following the procedure. With the veteran guard out for the time being, Quentin Grimes (knee) should continue playing a featured role while Justin Edwards (ankle) sees a boost in playing time off the bench.

76ers' Eric Gordon: Without timetable for return
Head coach Nick Nurse said that Gordon (wrist) won't play in Thursday's game against the Celtics and is without a timetable for a return while he continues to receive more medical opinions on his injury, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
Nurse suggested that Gordon could be facing a lengthy absence due to a sprained right wrist, which he's already had evaluated by two specialists. With Justin Edwards (ankle) also sidelined for at least the next couple of games, the 76ers could turn to Quentin Grimes and Ricky Council to play more minutes on the wing.

76ers' Eric Gordon: Remains out Thursday
Gordon (wrist) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Celtics.
Gordon will miss a third straight game with a sprained right wrist. The veteran wing had averaged just 9.5 minutes over his last two appearances with the 76ers, so his continued absence likely won't open up much extra playing time for other players.

Gordon is questionable for Tuesday's game against Toronto with a right wrist sprain.
