Two teams trying to get away from the .500 mark in the early stages of the season face off Tuesday night when the Warriors host the Suns. Golden State is 4-3 on the year while Phoenix is 3-4. The Suns have won two of their last three games after a 1-3 start, however, as they're in a bit of a transition year after trading Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets. The Warriors are again led by Steph Curry, who is averaging 26.6 points this year as the team's go-to guy offensively. From the hardwood to the ice, we have a potential Stanley Cup Final preview in Colorado as the Avalanche host the Lightning. These have been two of the NHL's best and most consistent franchises in recent years, and they've each hoisted the Cup of late with Tampa winning it all in 2020 and 2021 and Colorado in 2022. The Avs own the top record in the Western Conference at 7-1-5, while the Lightning are 6-4-2, good for fourth in the Atlantic Division. Nathan MacKinnon is once again dominating for Colorado, entering Tuesday tied for first in the NHL in goals (10) and second in the league in points (19).
