  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Shows off speed Tuesday

Carroll went 2-for-4 with two triples, one RBI, one stolen base and two runs scored in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Guardians.

Carroll put his speed on full display in this contest. He drove in a run with a triple in the fifth inning, and he also swiped a bag after reaching on a fielder's choice in the seventh. Carroll hadn't hit a triple since July 29 versus the Tigers, but he's got 16 of them on the year after Tuesday, four ahead of Boston's Jarren Duran for the major-league lead. Carroll has added 27 home runs, 17 steals, 65 RBI, 84 runs scored and 22 doubles while slashing .253/.329/.559 across 110 contests.

  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Launches longest HR of career

Carroll went 2-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's 6-5 loss to Colorado.

Carroll drove a middle-middle fastball from Rockies' left-hander Luis Peralta 474 feet into the second deck of the right-center field stands. It was the longest home run of his career, besting the lefty batter's previous career high by 28 feet. The homer was the 27th of the season for Carroll, who has gone deep six times over his last 15 games.

  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Moved to third in order

Carroll is batting third for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.

Arizona is swapping Geraldo Perdomo and Carroll in the lineup, with Perdomo moving up from third to leadoff against Texas righty Jack Leiter. It's unclear if this is a permanent move, but Carroll has been hitting for big power this month, with four home runs in his last five games. The Diamondbacks apparently want more thump in the heart of the order, and Perdomo's strong on-base skills make him an ideal leadoff hitter. Carroll is slashing .269/.321/.769 with four home runs, seven RBI, seven runs scored and a 2:9 BB:K over the last seven days.

  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Blasts bomb in loss

Carroll went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Monday's 7-6 loss against the Rangers.

Carroll jumped on a high fastball from Nathan Eovaldi, belting his 26th homer of the season in the third inning. The star outfielder has been on a tear lately, driving in runs in five straight games and going deep in four of his past five contests. While his stolen base total sits at just 14, he's still on track to post a 30-homer, 20-steal season in 2025.

The star outfielder has tied his career high with 25 homers this season, doing so in just 100 games, which gives him plenty of time to add on to his count. He's also provided 59 RBI, 75 runs scored, 14 stolen bases and a .248/.323/.555 slash line through 449 plate appearances this year.

Carroll went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 6-1 win over the Rockies.

Carroll has popped three homers over seven games to begin August, going 6-for-24 (.250) in that span. The outfielder's uptick in power is a positive sign after he was limited to just one long ball -- along with six doubles and five triples -- over 20 games in July. He's up to 24 homers on the year, putting him one shy of matching his career high from 2023. He's added 58 RBI, 73 runs scored, 14 stolen bases and a .247/.322/.551 slash line across 99 contests.
